This is a well made rug but it is really black and tan. There are not as many stripes as pictured so the tan color is very dominant, which didn't work out for me where I was putting it.

This was a fabulous purchase. The quality was great. I read the other reviews and some mentioned an odor for a few days, but I did not have that at all. Very, very pleased.

Love the rug! My 14yr. old daughter wants the exact same one. It's the perfect size for our small bedroom. When the rug arrived it smelled awful but I've been spraying it with a carpet deodorizer so it's not too bad now (a month later).

This rug is a quality made wool rug--thick and heavy. The color, size, pattern, quality, etc is as described in the product details. It did have an odor when it first came out of the plastic, but the smell quickly dissipated and is no longer noticeable.

I have to say that I am very pleased with this rug. Other reviews have mentioned a bad smell when they first opened and unrolled the carpet. I noticed only a slight odor, which quickly dissipated after a couple of days. Otherwise, this rug looks fantastic! Excellent workmanship and great quality. I would purchase it again.

This is a fabulous rug at a great value. Compared the all the other zebra rugs out there this one is a steal. I read comments that others had problems with the smell when they first received the rug but I didn't have any kind of problems what so ever. I get complements on this rug all the time and it's just so much fun to add a little POP into our place! I would recommend this to everyone!

I have ordered MANY area rugs for clients and also my own personal use and was greatly surprised when this arrived! For the price, this is a STEAL. Yes, it is a bit smelly, but dissipated after a few days. After about a week of use it needed to be vacuumed because of shedding. I considered that fairly normal for this type of rug. It's heavy enough to go over carpet and lies flat.

Love this rug. Very chic. Sheds as described by other reviewers. This is totally expected for a wool rug. I was thinking it was 4x6....so I was a bit disappointed when it arrived smaller than i thought. But still a good price.

I was looking for a zebra skin rug. They're not very easy to find now-a-days. I found one on overstock.com. It looks great, and it is very thick. I was impressed. The only bad thing about it is the smell. It may be a good idea to air it out before actually placing it in your home. Overall, it's worth the value and " the smell"!

Love our new Zebra print rug. Can't beat the price and goes perfectly with the decor. Very soft and thick. Will not get hung up in the vacuum cleaner. Would recommend this rug for anyone looking to add a touch of zebra to their decor!

This is a good rug - high quality. However, it smelled terrible. I put it outside in the sub-freezing temperatures for a few days. That seemed to take the smell away, but just for good measure, I zapped it with some Renuzit Odor Neutralizer.

Eye catching and luxe, this lush pile gives the impression that: 1. you have a very high taste level, and; 2. arent a stranger to fun and adventure. Comprable rugs at major rug retailers are often 2 or 3x's this price. I placed it on a refinished hard wood floor w/o a carpet pad and it is sturdy and holds position fairly well nonetheless. My friends & dogs love it :) Although i hope the dogs don't make it a favorite hang out spot :) I was expecting it to be nice because of favorable reviews and i was not at all let down. It is a really beautiful, well made rug. It arrived in a see through plastic bag which seemed to me a somewhat poor choice since it could easily be intercepted by someone -even rolled up it looks like a high quality, expensive rug. I have to agree with other reviewers: mine had a strong chemical / cat urine smell... odd, but it has faded significantly in few days and hoping it will continue to be less noticeable. At this point i notice it only when i put my nose directly on the rug and sniff. At first, when I put it down, the odor filled my room, bleck! I rate the appearance, value, and workmanship at 5+ stars, so overall i give it the full five stars, this little piece is a real styling show stopper of a 3x5. Love it!

I searched high and low for a zebra that I wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg (which zebra rugs seem to be running). This rug was very nice and well represented by the description. It's soft yet heavy and thick--I can vacuum w/o it getting sucked up or scooting much. The rug shipped quickly and cleanly and was still afordable (under $100 for a 3x5). It was JUST what I was looking for. Thanks!

I was looking for a zebra print rug to add some style to my home office/guest room and I am very happy with this rug. The price was very affordable and the quality exceeded my expectations for the price. The pile is plush and deep and my feet are very happy.

This zebra rug is nice thick wool, excellent quality. The pattern is nice and bright and compliments any room nicely. Be sure to vacuum regularly to prevent black wool carpet fuzz from floating into the white areas.

I bought this rug along with a comforter to update the decor in my daughter's dorm room. She liked it but had trouble cleaning it and after several weeks put it in storage because the white had muddied to gray. I don't know if this is just shedding, or if it is not colorfast. I will retrieve it when I can and clean it properly, as I love the look of the zebra stripes. This is a tentative positive review, therefore.
