Beautiful, high quality rug
This rug is lovely. It is a thick wool and although it has shed quite a bit at first, it will last for years. The color is not what I would call ivory but instead a light beige/tan mix. It's worked perfectly in my space and I think Overstock is the the best place to find a quality rug at a great price. We looked at other websites before buying this and saw this exact same rug on a competitor's site for more than twice the Overstock price. Great buy!

Area Rug
What a welcome surprise. It is always chancy to order an area rug on line. We have experienced severe disappointment with another site before where the product was nothing like described. This rug was perfect for our application. Very nice and thick. Warm and the colors are perfect for our room. The only slight complaint is that it sheds quite a bit in the early stages. Regular vacumning will be required if the lint is a contrasting color to the area around it. We are super pleased with this purchase.

Excellent Quality
I would not consider the background color to be ivory. It is tan, however, the rug is beautiful and a great quality. I actually prefer that it is a darker color than I thought it would be because it will hide dirt better.

Perfect colors
Very happy with this rug. IT pulls in the colors of our room nicely. The price was right -- $100 cheaper than the same rug from ***. Actually, we bought the *** rug first, not knowing about this one. It arrived and was not in super shape and had a stain. Back it went. This rug was kept in much better care in the warehouse. If someone had used it before and returned it, you'd never know. The thickness of the rug is fine - i,e. If you dig your fingers into it you can't feel the bottom pad.

Very Nice!
This rug is very beautiful. The colors are close to what you see online. I agree with others who call it more of a light tan. I haven't vacuumed it yet but so far I am pleased with it.

Pretty Rug, DEFINITELY NOT Ivory
I ordered this rug to go along with an ivory/cream/blue decor I had decided on for my living room. When it arrived, it was not even the slightest bit ivory. Not even just a little. It is a grey color, almost a charcoal but not quite that dark. I cannot tell if the rug is simply dirty or if it is just an inaccurate description on the website. Despite this color discrepancy, I actually did end up keeping the rug because the greyish color actually complimented the chairs and love seat that I bought as well. I had been a bit nervous that an ivory-based rug would show too much dirt, but this darker color will hide it quite well. I love the design of the rug, it is thick and soft and seems to be excellent quality. My only gripe is that it is not an ivory colored rug as described

Has NOT held up well!
I bought this in November 2011, for our living room. I'm sad to write this, because I love this rug, and the pattern and colors were perfect for my decor, but it after a year and a half, it looks horrible! Overall, my cat has done the most damage to it. She likes to sharpen her claws on it at the corners, and that's caused bare patches in those areas. It's not just the cat though. It looks pretty worn overall. It IS in a heavy traffic area. We spend all our time in this room, and it's also a main circulation path, in my tiny house. There are worn spots in it where our storage ottoman that we use as a coffee table, gets pushed around. It DOES spot clean easily. Between a toddler, a German shepherd, a cat and two adults, we've had our share of spills, but they come up easily with a rag and dish soap usually. With the pets, this is vacuumed almost daily, which worked out well with the shedding in the beginning, but may be contributing to the ragged look now. Originally, I thought it was a good buy for the money, but now I wish I had spent more money on a better quality rug!

Hand tufted rug
We are very pleased with the quality, size, and coloring of this rug and just what we wanted. It fits in very nicely with the hardwood floors and leather furniture, but is not overpowering. We were also very surprised at how quickly it was delivered.

Oh my
I love the rug and the quality. The colors are great, but if you want Ivory it is not. The rugs background color is beige with two different contrasting blues. The rug is a real nice piece. I bought the 5 x 8 and the 2 x 4 sizes..
