Hand-tufted Whimsy Ivory Wool Rug (5' x 8')

I really like this rug. It's design and color doesn't overwhelm the room and offers a really nice playful touch.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is slightly more grey than I thought it would be but neutral enough to fit nicely with my bedroom decor.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very good quality. my husband loves it on bare feet.

I rec'd the rug on the estimated shipping day, without issue. It is thick and very soft. It did shed quite a bit for the first few days/vacuums. It is beautiful and I am very happy with it. It was my first purchase from O.

it's really great rug, the beige color it's a lot darker the on the picture, but the final look it's great. It need much less cleaning then all the other & brighter colors rugs that I have at home. I'll be buying this product again

When this rug arrived I wasn't sure about it. The picture on the website shows a plain ivory (really light beige) background, but on arrival, the rug has many blue fibers mixed into the beige background. Although it is subtle, it gives the rug a somewhat muddier, less crisp appearance than I was expecting. I also noticed that there is an error in the rug, a place where the design doesn't overlap properly. A stalk element in the design appears through the middle of an accidentally empty "bud" element that should have been solid blue. Not very obvious, but I know some might be bothered by that kind of thing... or depending where you wanted to place the rug, like in front of a sofa, it might be more obvious and annoying. Also there were a few spots where the machine didn't cut the pile exactly right, so I did have to get down with a pair of scissors and trim by hand. It took about 10 minutes to get it perfect. It shed a great deal during the first week, too. Although this must sound like a lot of complaints, I did decide to keep the rug. Partly because it would be very inconvenient to send back, I admit. But also, It is in a foyer where no one will linger long enough to notice the small pattern error. Also, it really is a cute rug, and it is the perfect pile height and thickness for where I needed it. And really, when I consider the price, I feel that in spite of the imperfection, it is still a good value.
