This rug was very high quality - nice tight weave, decently soft. However, it came out to be much more brown than green. We wanted something that would contrast with the hardwood floors, and it didn't quite fit the bill. Nice rug, but not for us.
I bought two of these 5x8 rugs based on previous positive reviews and the fact that they were on sale! These rugs are a lovely modern abstract design, slightly different patterning in each but still matching. They are cotton backed and do not slip on our wooden floor. They arrived very quickly within days of ordering. I left them outside to off-gas, as they came with a heavy chemical odor which has now faded away. They are standing up well to dogs and contstant traffic! The cost of two rugs was less than the price of one at all other places I looked to shop! Thanks Overstock for another fabulous buy!
My husband and I ordered this rug and we were very impressed by the quality of the product! The colors are great and the craftsmanship is wonderful. We could tell right away from the feel of the rug that it is tightly woven and should stay together well and hold up for quite some time! The colors are fabulous! The smaller lines look almost black from a distance, but up close, it's a beautiful dark green! All of the colors flow together so well. We are very happy with this purchase! We would reccommend this to any of our friends and family!
We purchased this rug - hoping it would be a LOVELY shade of green - when we received it - it turned out to be a bit more blue - gray depending on the room we put it in. We do still like the rug but it took some getting used to since we were expecting something a bit greener. We had to put it in a room other than the one we originally had purchased it for - which turned out to be all right...anyway - just be aware that the colors on line can be deceiving!
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? Few times a year
This rug is really thick and nice to step on. I also have a rug pad under it which makes it really soft and cozy. The colors were pretty accurate. However, they advertised the rug as having black in it and it doesn't. The lines that appear to be black are actually dark green. I also noticed that the white areas appear to be painted on, not sewn in (I know that sounds weird.). I don't like that at all. I would recommend this rug to anyone who is interested in a thick rug that makes you want to lie on it.
