I needed two small rugs to protect new wall-to-wall carpeting installed in my home that would not detract from the appearance of the new carpeting. I choose this carpet for the colors and because it was wool and would wear well under heavy foot usage. They are very plush and thick and absolutely beautiful. I bought a second to enhance the foyer area after the first.

this rug is thick and well made. The colors are true to the picture. I am using it at my front door, which is why I choose the black background. It is better than anything I could have found locally for the price. Initially it did shed a lot but that seems to dimish with time.

This rug is very thick and the colors are great. The only problem is you need to make sure you really want it. It doesn't go as well with my wood work as I thought, but returning item would cost about 25% of the rug. I decided to keep it rather than return, lose money, and order another one.
