Hand-tufted Sydney Wool Rug (5' x 8')

This rug appears to be a factory second of a $$$ rug, which I had seen in stores prior to purchasing this one. There are a tiny individual weaves which appear out of place of the pattern, but are hardly noticeable and worth the $$$ price difference. Another caveat is that even after a year of ownership it has not stopped shedding. It sheds the same amount as the first day I got it. I have tumbleweeds all over from this rug, but I don't vacuum it every week, so someone else may not have the same problem. Once you do vacuum it, it's like getting a brand new rug again! The color is pretty much as depicted, and I get lots of compliments on the colors and design. Overall: great value.

This rug is very plush and soft. The colors are true to what is featured. I used it as a dining room rug and really like it. Well constructed and durable. I would recommend!

My husband and I searched for an area rug for months. I saw this one featured on a popular home design blog in a mood board, and it appeared to be practically perfect (good size, great colors, not the price of a small country, and wool!). Fast and cheap shipping made the purchase a no-brainer. It looks like it was made for our room--the teal, purple, tan, and grey tones are great. I'd say the colors are a bit more vivid than what you see on screen, and there are lots of options for accents and pops of color to bring out the tones in the rug. There's a lovely grey-blue tone in it that doesn't show up well on screen that I would paint my walls if I didn't live in an apartment. Love it!!

The colors were perfectly represented and the rug is thick and soft. The rug initially shed a bit but no more than any other rug I've owned. Unlike other rugs I've purchased, this one did not have any smell to it. I am very happy and have had numerous complements on it.
