I've had this rug for over a year now. It did "shed" for a while but that goes away with time, as will any wool rug. I have two dogs that are constantly inside and out and would surely have ruined any beige rug by now. My rug has no stains and does not look dingy. I would definately recommend this rug .(especially to someone who doesn't mind vacuuming regularly!)

It is true, the rug sheds --- and it does drive me crazy, but I will say the shedding dimishes over time. I am beginning to accept that any wool rug I buy will shed. It goes with the territory. The first month does need alot of attention though with regular vaccuming. The bright, simple flowers are great though. I have a youthful asthetic and detest traditional floral rugs, but this rug is just perfect! The colors are vibrant though!

DO NOT BUY THIS RUG....EVER. You will have to vacuum the rug everyday and sweep the floor around it! It sheds so much that we have cleaned out our vacuum cleaner every few days for the past 5 months! The rug looks great...very modern and nice colors, but the shedding took away all the excitement! Serious advice...don't buy it!

This rug is eye catching! I love the colors and am very happy with it. I have to vacuum it often though because I have two dogs that shed white hair and the hair really shows up against this rug.

It's gorgeous and finishes off my home. Do not be taken aback by initial "shedding"...any wool rug does that.

This rug looks and feels great- we love it. However it does "shed" a lot. But for the price, it really can't be beat. The colors are really beautiful and it has a very modern feel to it without being overly contemporary. It look awesome in our loft-style condo. Excellent value.

I was a bit hesitant to get the rug since lots of the reviews talked about how much it SHEDS but I am not having a problem though I've only had it for 2 days now.I live with other housemates-male and female and everyone loves it.The rug is more beautiful in person.The color is more on the orangy red than what is pictured (on my monitor anyway).The greens, tans, blacks and yellows are more vivid too so the rug has contrast and is not too aggressive.It brightens up my living room which already has a light tan wall to wall carpet.The rug is nice and thick and feels so soft under bare feet.I love it so much but make sure it will go with your decor before you purchase it because it will be the focal point in the room.

I love this rug and looks better than I had hoped but like all the other buyers of this rug have stated, this rugs sheds like none I have seen even after two months I still have to empty my vacuum cleaner each time I use it.

Although this rug is beautiful looking, it sheds at a ridiculous rate. I am vacuuming more than twice a day and emptying the canister each time. My entire house is covered in red fuzz. I guess you get what you pay for.

Color of this rug is not a dark red as pictured, perhaps a little more of an orangy red.

Attractive rug. Sheds horribly and off-gasses. Overstock priced it cheaply, but at this rate, it will need to be replaced in a few short years. Not a quality product. Have been vacuuming up after it daily(!) since I got it. Terrible product made by Company C.

Overall, I am very pleased with the rug. I love the way the rug looks. I was concerned that the colors would be a little too vibrant, but they are just nice & rich. It is very thick and spoingy - great for 2 kids to play on. My only complaint is that it seems to be shedding some fluff, but I'm hoping that it will calm down on the fluff levels over time.

I bought this after shopping everywhere for a soft wool rug that would have some good color. the rug is indeed very soft and feels like a good quality rug. The color is a little more on the rasberry side of red than indicated in the photo - or more like a tomato-soup kind of red, but that's ok. we love it and i think for the money, it would be hard to beat this value.

This rug was an early Christmas gift for my daughter, who has been searching for a rug for a few years! This one is perfect. The colors are not too bright, yet not muted. There are several different colors in the rug and against the background make it perfect for a living room, dining room, den, office or bedroom. It's a good quality and although we have not yet purchased a pad it is soft to walk on.

I was extremely happy with my rug. The colors were right on and the size was fantastic! It adds so much to our family room. My only complaint and it is starting to be a big one is that the rug sheds. I thought at first it would stop after several vacummings, but it still sheds quite a bit. I keep finding red carpet balls all over my house. So..with that said I do love the rug and it is a good deal. But, I am not sure I would order it again knowing how much it sheds.

I have purchased items from Overstock in the past and have been very satisfied. This purchase was no exception. In fact, this rug has been the best purchase to date. The rug is like a piece of artwork. The colors are vibrant and the rug is thick and plush. You could not find this rug for the price anywhere else. Great Job Overstock.

This rug is made of excellent quality, it is nice and thick too, which brings life to my house which is completely hardwood floors. The colors on the screen are fairly accurate.
