I'm not sure if this is because it's hand-tufted or not, but as much as I like this rug, it seems to shed a lot where we walk (in front of the couch). I'll vacuum and the very next day will see these bunches of wool off the rug. I'm afraid it will really wear out before long.

This rug is strikingly beautiful, I get compliments on it everytime we have guests over. The pattern isn't as "busy" in the 8 x 11 scale. The colors are true to the photo and the quality is outstanding. It is very thick and plush and feels great underfoot. I am amazed at the craftsmanship. Being a wool rug, it does need to be vaccuumed regularly however the "fuzzies" will subside over time. This rug is a tremendous value and I could not be more pleased.

This is a really beautiful rug. However - it did a tremendous amount of shedding. Be prepared to really, really vacuum and sweep to manage all the fuzz. I would still buy it again, but it would have been nice to be aware of the shedding.

Well, like others stated, the colors are muted. The quality seems great. It sheds quite a bit. I'm vacuuming everyday. The one thing I didn't expect - it's itchy on the skin!!! Overall it's fine. Not the powerful statement I was looking for in a rug... Overstock - is Fabulous! the rug arrived in just days...Thanks.

This rug was every bit as attractive as I'd hoped. As mentioned by other reviewers, it sheds quite a bit, but the overall quality and materials are exceptionally high for the price. I've seen rugs from the same manufacturer listed for more than twice as much elsewhere. I found the colors to be a good match for the appearance on my screen (a MacBook). My only regret is that I bought it right before the 15% off sale on area rugs!

I work in the design industry. The colors are true to the photo (the beige is not pink). Excellent, tight wool pile and sea glass color combination in this rug make it a focal point in any room. Everyone that sees it in my living room raves about it. Shedded for over a month, but quality rugs shed. Worth the vacumming. The design does not look busy in actual size.

I purchased this area rug 2 years ago and I still love it. It used to be in my living room in a smaller home. Now I just moved and placed this rug in my dining area which has the colors green and chocolate, everyone comes straight to this room and adore the colors especially the rug. It's a great focal point for adding decor accents to this room. It blends everything so well. I plan on buying the matching runner for my foyer which splits the dining room and living room. My living room is blue, chocolate, and beige so it will help bring the two rooms together. I love it! It was delivered on time and the price was a great deal! If buying this product, expect the colors shown on your computer to be a just a little less vibrant, although it is still on point.

PROS: The rug feels great underfoot. Great construction for the cost.CONS:The two blues are the within 95% the same. The khaki/brown color is pink. So if you don't mind having two stripes of the same blue and a stripe of pink then this is a great rug, I didn't so kind of a disappointment. At this price I'll keep the rug and know next time to see something like this in person instead of relying on the color rendering of the computer screen.

Overall I would recommend this beautiful rug - the colors are beautiful and the pattern is simple yet striking. My wife and I both love the way this rug feels. It has a very plush but firm pile and it looks great in our living room even without the couches on it. The style is perfect for our modern taste without being too quickly outdated. Our kids love to play with their toys on it even though we ask them not to.A bit pricey for us but compared to the non-wool alternatives at a rug this size - it was a very good buy.As others have mentioned - this rug will shed, but its not a big deal - it will eventually stop.

Beautiful Rug! Exactly the colors I was looking for in a unique pattern. The picture does show the true colors.Yes, it sheds. I have been vacuuming everyday and hopefully as another buyer mentioned, the shedding will go away in a few months.It was shipped promptly and I'm extremely happy.

I was delighted when the rug came to my door, it is really heavy and thick and the colors, although slightly more muted than the pic are pretty close, with the exception of the blue which is a bit stronger than it shows, but still in the same family and very harmonic with the other colors. Quality is nice and I am very happy with my purchase and this price.

I just received this rug last week and I'm very pleased with it. As others have said it does shed a lot. The colors were pretty close to what is depicted in the picture except for the two shades of blue. They are almost identical on the actual rug. It doesn't change my opinion of the rug though... I love it.

This is a beautiful rug at a good price. It does shed A LOT and I mean A LOT. It took 2 months of vacuuming with a really good vacuum for the shedding to finally stop. I had several full canisters of loose wool that got sucked up. It still looks beautiful, it just takes a while for it to completely shed. I would still recommend it to others.

The rug arrived in just a few days and it rolled out great. Colors are true to what the picture depicts. Does shed a little, but i don't think its a huge problem. Overall, beautiful and a good value.

This rug looks so nice in my home! I was planning to repaint my home, but couldn't decide on a shade. I purchased this rug and loved it so much that I bought paint to match and repainted the house. It looks great! I actually just purchased the smaller rugs as accent pieces to use throughout the main level...we live in a town home. I should add...my husband loves it too!

We are totally satisfied with this rug. The colors are exactly what we thought they would be. They do not appear to be muted as others have written. The rug does shed. Hopefully, over time it will shed less and less. We were expecting this based on other reviews. However, since we have dogs, we vacuum frequently anyway. For 100% wool and the size, we find this product to be excellent in appearance, quality, and price!!

The rug has beautiful colors which are not overly bright but are still very pretty. Only complaint would be the shedding at this point. I am hopeful that will improve as we continue to vacuum. Everyone thinks it is beautiful and does not notice the shedding.

The colors are quite different than on the website. Still a nice rug, but MUCH more Blue-ish appearance than it looks on the webstie. Be sure that blue works in your room.....

I love the quality of the rug. It looks and feels very expensive. The only reason I'm not rating this a 5 is the rug's color which looks very different than the picture. The stripe that looks dark brown is a very washed out brown that borders on purple. The beige is also not a true brown tone but is just a weird off color that I cant describe. All the colors are a "faded" or washed out look which is intentional not a quality issue. So if you are looking for rug that "pops" and adds a lot of vibrant color to your room I'd choose another.

We just received this rug and are thrilled with the quality -- not to mention that it was exactly what we needed to tie the room together! I'm posting this to note that the colors are somewhat different from the website images, but that's likely a problem with various monitors. I looked at this page on three different monitors and still was surprised by the true colors upon arrival. Of the 6 colors in the pattern, the beige shown here actuallly is much more of a fleshy nude color (my husband described it as "tan panty hose"). The charcoal grey shown here is actually distinctly chocolate brown. FYI. Still a great rug and a keeper.
