the swirly stripes and bright colors give this rug an edge, but the neutral base color makes it work with any color/design scheme - and the wool in the rug makes it durable and hardy, but for some reason it doesnt feel scratchy...it actually feels soft! overall its definitely well worth it, especially at overstock's price
