Beautiful, thick wool rug
A lovely thick wool pile rug, predominant color is black, other colors are muted-a muted rust, green, gold, also ivory
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Actually, the colors are pretty true to the photo, I'd say in the real product, the colors are more muted(except the black)
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. For this low price, the quality was excellent. I paid about $800 maybe 8 or 9 years ago for a similar wool rug and this one is iin competition with it
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? It was good. If anything, the product was better than the description

Beautiful rug, but misnamed colors
I struggled with this review. It's a great rug - if you aren't looking for gold as one of the primary colors. On the other hand, this became my first Overstock return, and it was slick. The return shipping was around $$$ bucks. At Overtock prices, you'd need to return a lot of rugs before you went in the hole. My next attempt was The Black and Gold Taj Mahal. That one really does have gold and is perfect for my room. My recommendation on this rug is to get it - as long as a pretty straw/black rug might work for you. Although I returned it, I thought Overstock deserved 5 stars for this quality rug and the efficient return process.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Not great. The "gold" was actually more buttery khaki or winter straw? Didn't look like the picture or the description.
