After receiving the 8x11 rug , I was delighted that the other reviews were so spot on. Great quality for the price! Thick dense pile, imbued with rich vibrant colors. I have received many compliments on this rug . I highly recommend it. Be advised this is a busy pattern & makes a bold statement, hence it could potentially compete with other patterns in a room.

Prompt delivery and the rug looks great. Happy with the quality. A few other reviewers mentioned a discrepancy with the color shown on the site vs the colors in the actual item. I found that this has to do with monitor settings. I viewed the rug on two separate computers - a laptop and desktop. The colors appeared different on each computer. Also, regarding other's remarks about the shedding - it does shed, but not as bad as I expected. I had another wool rug that shed much more. After you use it awhile the shedding diminishes. I guess you have to work out the loose wool fibers.

Beautiful rug with vibrant but not garish colours. It looks wonderful in the Master bedroom of our log house. The pattern in the rug is similar to Pennslyvania Dutch designs or Colonial stencilling and the colours look wonderful with the wood and deep crimson walls in the room. It is very thick and feels great underfoot and both my husband and I think it is a VERY good deal for the money. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a tastefullyl colorful focal point in their room. We are very pleased.

This is a beautiful rug! the colors are rich and striking. It is mainly rusts, golds,sage green, and a little red on the black background. The edge is gold, not tan. I am using this under a glass dining room table and the colors show beautifully. This is a wool rug - wool rugs shed for a long time, so if that bothers you, buy another fiber I think its a great value for a wool rug which usually would cost much more.

I was so happy with this rug when it arrived! I was nervous about purchasing another rug over the internet, as I have been highly dissapointed in the past (not with overstock). I decided to buy the rug based on the excellent reviews and was not let down! The colors are beautiful! Bright, but not over done. It does shed a little, but that's normal with wool rugs. The only thing I was surprised about was the size of the pattern. The flowers are pretty big, I was expecting them to be smaller. Overall this rug is beautiful, with a thick pile. It rolled out flat with no creases and is just what I wanted! Would definitely recommend.

just a warning, and I read all the reviews before I ordered this. The outside edge is really a kiwi green color.

I have owned this rug for two years and I'm still loving it! The quality is superb, the colors are perfect in my room and the pattern keeps the room looking fresh. Because it's a black background and in our main family room, I do vacuum it more than normal, but it also has shown no wear, I have yet to see any staining(and believe me with 3 boys, two dogs in a high traffic area off our kitchen, I am impressed). We have it over a hardwood floor and love the look it gives. At first, I was apprehensive about buying such an item over the internet(how do you return a 8x11 carpet?). I took a chance and couldn't be happier. The colors other than black in order of predominance are gold, sage, tan, cranberry.

We just love this rug. The colors are great in our gold dinning room! Even better in person.

Last year I bought the 8 ft. round for my dining room and absolutely LOVED it so much I just purchased the 8x11 for the living room. I probably should have bought the smaller size since this one is nearly wall to wall (VERY small LR) but I'm pleased anyway. The colors are wonderfully vibrant and this rug doesn't seem to shed nearly as much as my round rug. As one commenter mentioned, the rug is pretty "busy" so your furniture shouldn't be as it's pretty much the focal point.I'm continuely impressed with Overstocks shipping and handling policy. I ordered the rug on the 18th and it was shipped the next day which surprised me since it was a holiday. I put the rug down two days later. Wow!

This rug is nice for the price. However, it is not 8 x 11 but actualy 7'8" x 10'6", which was fine for my dining room. More importantly, it must be vacuumed often. Because of the way the rug is made, it sheds quite a bit (at least at the begninning) and must be vacummed at least twice a week. Also, it is difficult to vacuum as you must constantly go over the same areas. No, it is not a problem with my vacuum cleaner. It's a $300 Kenmore that was recently serviced. Based on my experience thus far, I would not recommend the rug.

The rug is beautiful.....really thick and a great value. As other reviewers have mentioned, the colors are quite bright---but I use it in my LR which has no other patterns or prints, so the rug is the focal point of color in the room, just as I had hoped. The colors shown online are quite accurate, but the outer border is more of a goldish mustard color, not beige---but it looks fine in my room. I have NOT had the shedding problems that others have mentioned, and the rug is luxuriously thick and dense, so I don't even bother using a pad.

I love this rug! The colors are true to picture and it looks great in front of the fireplace. In fact, my dogs enjoy lying on it twhen they take in the warmth of the fire. I would recommend it to anyone. In addition, I've received many compliments since purchasing the rugs ( I bought three). No doubt it is an extremely good value for the money!

Delivery was fast, carpet is beautiful, even if colors are slightly different from what one sees on the website; it is also very thick (and does shed a bit, as other customers mentioned), but it's a good deal overall. The room has a 'personality' now...

The rug is as lovely as the previous raters have stated. The salmon color in my rug is really a mustard color; however, the rug makes the room. Don't delay in ordering one!

I purchased this rug as the main inspiration piece during the remodeling of my kitchen last year. This rug anchors the kitchen table. The colors are vibrant and the rug has received nothing but compliments. The wool rug did shed heavily for the first month - one pass with the vaccuum every day - but then it quit shedding. This rug is heavier and more plush than many rugs 3-4 times more expensive. Rug was shipped quickly and arrived rolled and wrapped in heavy plastic. How they ship this heavy rug for $2.95 is beyond me! Do not hesitate - BUY!!
