Hand-tufted Paradise Black/ Multi Wool Rug (5' x 8')

I love this rug,the colors are perfect for our home. It did shed a little when I first received it, but most rugs do. It has been a few years and the rug has held up well with human and pet traffic . It does tend to show the dog hairs due to the color, but vacuums up easily. I would get this again in a heart beat great colors and super quality and durability.

Unfortunately, it sheds ALOT! I have to constantly vacuum it as the gold fibers that shed are visable against the black background which makes it look constantly dirty. I've had it for over a month and it still fills the vacuum canister each time I vacuum.

This is a beautiful rug with bright colors that stand out against the black background and soft green leaves. The colors are rich yellow, gold and terra cotta with a bright yellow/gold border as decribed in other reviews. It really brightens up our space that only has a north window. Frequent vaccuming helps with the shedding, which is expected.

I bought this based on the great reviews and expected a great rug. I was sadly disappointed. One of the long sides of the rug (8' side) was not even straight. When placed on our hardwood floor it was obviously crooked and wavy. In addition, the colors were not at all like my computer monitor (checked it on two monitors in our home.) The border is a BRIGHT mustard yellow. The other colors, as well, are very bright...not subtle at all. It looked nothing like the picture. I did return it and was given a refund, but, it was obviously defective. At first, Overstock wanted me to take it to UPS to return it. I said "no" not my fault and did not feel I should have to go through all of that. They sent a UPS driver to pick it up.
