Colors were not as expected
I was very excited when this rug became available again based on the picture and prior reviews which raved about the colors. It seemed absolutely perfect for my shore master bedroom so I quickly ordered two of them. Unfortunately, when I unrolled the rug, the colors were somewhere between muddy and muted...not the cool green/grey/blues that I expected. That said, if someone is looking for these colors with a brownish tone or cast to them, this rug could be the one for them. I returned the rugs (at great expense) and will be more careful in the future due to the return shipping costs!

If you are considering this rug, buy it! This is a crate and barrel rug that has recently sold out on their web page. Visit their site to see the smaller version, which is still considerably higher than this huge 8X10. The colors are beautiful, you can't go wrong with this rug. As always, overstock provides the best customer service and shipping quality.

Beautiful, but very green and teal
This is a beautiful rug. Everyone who sees it, loves it. But... I was surprised when I opened it, it is very much in the green and teal tones. My screen showed it more gray.

Really great rug! Very nice quality.
This rug is very nice quality. It's darker than we thought it would be, but we love the colors - blues, greens, and greys; some monitors enhance yellow so that the dark grey parts might look brownish to you - but they are all fairly cool colors. The waves of color are slightly different heights so there's nice texture and movement to the rug.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Pretty good, depends on your monitor. No brown, cream, or tan in the rug.

Carpet had more green than gray
I thought when I read the reviews on the color, "how can there be so much of a difference." I figure the people didn't know what they were talking about since the picture was staring me in the face. However, color was way off. The carpet had no blue and more green than gray. Looked as if it was a green rug. I had it rolled up and packaged to return until the amount of the return came to light. Now it sits packaged in my garage.

Nice rug, subdued colors
I read a lot of reviews and looked at the pictures on three different computers before I decided to buy it. The colors were pretty accurate, except the gray looked a little tan--it's not. And some waves are a combination of blue and gray, which might show up funny in pictures. The colors (gray, blue, and green) are muted, so it won't brighten a room, but they remind me of the ocean, so I like it. It does shed a bit, but I have it in a low traffic area, so it's not too bad. It fits well in the room.

Good wool rug
The description is more accurate than the photo colors. I even took a photo of it with my camera and had the same results with what looked like a blue color in the rug. But whether in daylight or lamplight the rug's color by our eyes has a light greenish cast overall. Some of the taupe and silver come through, but no blue/gray color whatsoever. It mostly appears greenish. The camera lens and human lens see it differently. The rug itself is nice and thick and fortunately the wave ridges are not too deep, so there's no tripping or vacuuming problem. It just gives it some diversity. We've had it for a couple of months and it still sheds a bit (but not as bad as another wool rug we got).

Beautiful rug!
We bought this carpet for a living room remodel. The pattern and different heights make it a unique piece. We get lots of compliments on it. The colors are very muted shades of dusty sage green. It shed a lot at first, as with any wool rug but is fine after lots of vacuuming. We love it. The quality is amazing and such a great price!
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color is definitely greens. It appeared to have blue in it on my monitor - no blues - dusty sage greens with a hint of browns.

Great value!
I have looked at a lot of rugs both online & in person & was not really finding what I wanted. I saw this rug & after reading the reviews thought I would take a chance on it. As many reviewers have said before...this rug is much darker than pictured- I was expecting more silver/blue in the rug (based on the pic). However instead, the rug is more shades of green. In any case- it's a very nice rug, great quality for the money & the rug has lots of movement in it due to the different pile heights in the design. Not totally what I thought I was buying based on the pictures, but still a great value & looks fabulous!

good title
I love this rug! I put it in our dining room, which is painted blue but open to living room which is green. It ties in both colors. Very thick wool. well made. It reminds me of waves.
