I was unsure of ordering a rug "sight unseen" off the web, especially considering there were no reviews on this specific rug. And, although some of the colors aren't exactly as they appeared, the rug is really beautiful. It has a nice subtle appearance considering it is primarily black and beige. There is a lot of light olive green and tan in the rug which seems to help transition from the light to darker colors pretty well. The burgundy and rose colors pick up the color of the cherry wood flooring in the room. The quality is nice and the rug is fairly thick. I had read about quite a few wool rugs shedding but this one hasn't been too bad. It does give off a little fiber but not as bad as the Heritage Mahal Black rug I also purchased. After shopping around, including looking at "The Dump" I felt that the price was too good to be true. But, I couldn't be happier. My only wish is that this rug came in a larger variety of sizes and shapes.
