After having returned a previous rug I purchased from overstock I was a little gun shy but this rug just really appealed to me. I was very pleased when it arrived and it exceeded my expectations. I was worried that the pile height would be too high but it is not -- it is a high quality and very soft feeling pile. I was also concerned that it might look a little too machine made with a perfect stamped on pattern but there are imperfections built into the pattern (circles aren't perfect) that give it a very high end look. I would say that the rug color is not quite as "flat" as it appears in the photo and at least right out of the bag has a slightly shiny quality to it (nothing offensive or overly shiny at all -- but I appreciate detail in reviews).
