Hand-tufted Ivory Howler Wool Rug (4' Square)

I purchase this rug based on the photograph and overstock's description of the color as "ivory". I expected a warm light color rug with pops of blue as in the picture. the actual rug is not bright at all. the background is a muddy looking, cool-toned brown-beige and the branch pattern doesn't stand out nearly as much because those colors are muddy as well. even the blues in the middle of the "branches" are very washed out and the color doesnt pop at all. my best description of the color is that it looks like the overstock photograph was soaked in dirty dish water. if you have a cool toned neutral room and are looking for a very neutral rug this might do. for me, it was inappropriate and i was sad to have to return it. the actual quality of the rug however seems very good.
