I've had this rug 2 or 3 years now and it still sheds. The color of the 'stems' of the little artwork is a medium brown, not a dark brown like in the pictures. It looks cheap. It feels cheap. It arrived dirty. There were hard white crusty things in the carpet too, that really hurt your feet if you stepped on them. I had to cut these chunks out to make it safe for a baby. I cleaned it with diluted Woolite and it got 4 shades lighter. I have gotten a rug's worth of shedded wool from it in the past few years. It still fills the canister of a Dyson every time I vacuum. The shedding gets on everything that touches it. I am completely unhappy with this rug. I would've sent it back but my cost to ship would've been in the hundreds. I took a chance on this rug and lost. For what it cost it would be ok for staging a house to sell or other non-living or low use areas. Bottom line: I suggest buying large area rugs in person. You'll save in the end.
I love the look of this rug, but I really hope the shedding stops soon. I vacuum it everyday and everday it fills the canister of my vacuum and still an hour or less later there are balls of rug fibers all over the house. Other than that, it looks and feels great.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Exactly what I expected
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Average - Lots of shedding fibers
The rug was darker than the online picture. I was most upset at understanding "shipping" only means shipping "TO", because when I tried to send the rug back the charge was over $$ to return. My son ended up taking the rug, but I will hesitate befor purchasing an item again based on your return policy CS
