Hand-tufted Heritage Black Wool Runner (2'3 x 8')

Delivered in two days, amazing! The rug is not as bright as it appeared on my computer monitor but beautiful nonetheless. It is very well made with a tight weave on the back and thick quality wool on top. The colors are more subdued with a true-black background so blends well with walls and furniture. Very happy with this purchase.

It's wonderfully thick, thicker than all the ones I've looked at locally in the same price range, even 2-3 times the price. Its great quality, no shedding.

We looked for a runner for our updated kitchen for several weeks and finally decided on this one. The colors are true to what we saw on our monitor -muted shades- and the rug looks great as an accent piece rather than the focus of the room. Our counters are Santa Cecilia Gold granite and the rug blends very well with them. Our search paid off with the perfect rug! HOWEVER, there are a few negatives about this rug. It does shed and I find that I sweep the floor at least twice a day and vacuum it every other day. We have no pets and no children left at home, so it's just my husband and me walking on it. If you're a busy mom with job, husband, and children, this is probably not the rug for you due to its constant shedding. Also, I'm not sure that it's hand made, even though the tag shows that it is. We have several Persian rugs that we know are hand made and the backing looks much different from this runner. We've never had problems with the Persian rugs shedding, either. With all of this said, I would still recommend this rug to a friend. It looks great and the price is right!

nice thick rug, dramatic look for floor, colors are muted, less bright than pictured, requires frequent vacuuming but worth it !! i love it !!!
