Very thick, good rug but no comparison to a hand made real Persian Bakhtiar that I have in the same room. I was disappointed in the colors and somewhat in the pattern that isn't Bakhtiar at all. However, if one isn't into real hand made Persian rugs, this one is a very good, strong rug for a very good price.

The rug is beautiful. I wanted to put it @ my front door but it is too thick (the door won't clear the rug). I put the rug in my living room under the coffee table and it makes the room POP. The colors are just as described.
