The rug is lighter in color than depicted, but still a very good addition to a room. It has definitely brought my living area together and added that extra *something*. I get compliments on it all the time! It's a lot more plush than I thought it would be. My only complaint would be that it does shed a lot, I vacuumed it when it first arrived and have since had to vacuum the more used areas quite a few times, filling the vac with fuzz every time. It is not fuzz that gathers in the room however, just that is pulled up from the rug while being vacuumed, so it is not as if it would pose a problem when having guests over, etc. Overall, a fantastic purchase at a better price than found elsewhere!

The background color is a little darker than in the picture. I expected an almost white background. The rug sheds heavily. But it is a nice looking rug, very thick and plush.
