Hand-tufted Delhi Rust/ Gold New Zealand Wool Rug (4' x 6')

This rug has a beautiul print, but please beware the photo is of a larger size rug than the one you are receiving- the size of the print doesn't change with the size of the rug, so the 4 x 6 is just a small piece of the print you see on the photo so I was unhappy with that, but overall it looks very nice in my family room. Quality is very good. Does have some shedding but that is to be expected with a wool rug. Colors are a bit darker and more muted than in the photo, but still lovely. I just feel a photo of each size of the rug should be listed so you know exactly what you are buying.

This is my 1st rug from Overstock and I'm very pleased. I've had the rug for about a month now. Great quality, thick and plush. Just remember that this is a hand tufted rug, not hand knotted, so don't expect it to last for twenty years (Hand tufted rugs are glued. The glue will deteriorate eventually.) My only issue is with the pictures... the rug looks orangey in the picture, which it's not at all. More of a warm brown background with sage green, brown and tan patterning. Also, the pix is of a larger rug, not the 4 x 6 that I ordered, so you are seeing more of the pattern than what is on the 4 x 6. So picture the very middle of the rug and go out about half way in each direction. That's the part that is in the 4 x 6. So, in essence, the pattern is bigger, but less of it and less busy, than what is pictured. I did notice that when I checked the site, the same picture was used for this rug in different sizes and for the Delhi Rust/Gold New Zealand Wool Rug and for the Delhi Red/Gold New Zealand Wool Rug. I wish that they would also picture the back of the rug too...that tells you a lot about a rug. So read all descriptions and reviews carefully! That said, the rug and colors were exactly what I wanted and the price was at least $50 - $100 less than what I would have paid locally for a similar rug. Delivery was very fast.
