The rug is in my college age daughter's room and is pretty cool looking--very furry.
I purchased the rug based on another review and the same purpose, for a teenager's bedroom. Knowing how often teenagers change bedroom themes, I didn't want to spend a lot on a rug. The rug is a very good quality for the price paid. There was an "odor" to the rug perhaps from the backing material, but it has since gone away and all is good.

Received in poor dirty package, wet, smelling and called to return. The customer Rep is good and handled the return process effectively.

Well, I ordered the beige in 5x8 . Label states taupe & depending upon the lighting it could look dark taupe(if you flatten the top of it.If you raise the tops, so it look nice it looks olive to taupe. It is a very nice rug, wrong color for my wood floors. This has regular carpet, mixed in with shine carpet. OVERSTOCK is GREAT!!!!!! Rep. said they would replace(that they may have sent me olive) but I want the white, which others stated was off white. THIS IS WAY TO DARK w/ an olive tone. Honestly one of the nicest shags I have seen, should have been lighter, as picture shows.
I love this shag rug. The only issue I had was the picture of it was sooooo tiny, and I could barely see what I was buying. I took a chance and bought it anyway. (I got the beige). Also, the texture is much different than the picture shows. It has a lot of sheen to it, which I did not expect. Luckily, it looks nice in my living room.
