Hand-tufted of 100-percent wool, the Bakhtieri rug features a panel pattern in shades of burgundy, gold, sage, navy, camel, ivory, beige, and peach. It includes a 100-percent cotton canvas backing, adding to the durability of your rug. The fringeless borders give a very clean, elegant look and feel. We recommend the use of a rubberized rug pad to prevent slippage on smooth flooring.

The colors are brighter than I expected - I thought they would be a touch more muted. The border color is a dark red while I expected it to be more of a reddish brown. Overall, though it's a great rug and I only wish I had the need for the other sizes in this pattern because i love the way it can really coordinate with any room color. It does shed quite a bit - my persian cat still has tufts of the rug in her tail! - but I vacuum just once and week and it's fine. Not an inordinate amount of shedding.
I looked at many others, and this runner is a great value. It''s a little more vividly colored than it appears on my monitor, but it's gorgeous.
AWESOME!!! Got it today...what a treat to see how beautiful it is!! Colors slightly more muted than picture, but it is perfect for our foyer!~~
