Nice looking rug, but there is a great deal of pilling and I have concerns about the long term value. There is excessive amounts which require frequent vacuuming.

The color of the rug is very close to how it appeared on my monitor- a very neutral beige base with a few accenting colors. The colors are very muted, so if you are looking for a bold statement, this is not it. The pattern looked a bit more intricate on the monitor, but again, the rug is very subdued, and nothing really stands out about it. Shedding hasn't been a problem, but I have had some issues with the cats digging into it with their claws, and this is very obvious on the wool pile. If you are concerned about cats scratching it, I would suggest a plusher/shag type rug. Overall it is good quality and worth the price. Pretty much as I expected- not blown away, but not dissappointed either.

Excellent purchase choice for me...dimensions true and fit my hallway perfectly. Luxurious feel under bare feet, quite thick pile for the price. The reason I gave only 4 stars for appearance is that the carpet was not rolled properly, causing a bulge which I'm sure will lie down after a bit. As I don't want to use until fall, I re-rolled after checking it out for a couple of days and am storing it until then.

Very thick and plush. I expected a more taupe color. The one I got has a little more yellow undertone, but it still worked for my entry way.

This rug is not only beautiful but also feels so good under your feet. We love it!

"i bought 2 of this runner together with 6'x9' matching area rug for my living room and for the long hall way leading from living room to garage. I was very pleased with the quality, it is thick, and comfortable when walking on it, however, the rug and 2 runners comes in different colors, the rug has mostly beige, runners one has light olive color, and one has light tan color....I end up placed them in seperate areas that no one will spot the color difference."
