This is a beautiful rug: very soft on the feet, detailed workmanship in the design, and a pleasing color palette.BUT..the colors are very different than in the photo shown above. In the photo, the rug looks like it is overall gold in tone, with warm colors throughout, but it actually consists of a very cool color palette--primarily blue-gray background, cream (a cool cream, not a gold cream) borders, with sage and a bit of burgundy and dark turquoise details. I knew from the other reviews that the colors weren't as shown, so I took a chance and purchased it for my (tiny) living room. I happen to love the colors! I do recommend buying this rug only if you are starting a room from scratch and can build around it. It is too difficult to match existing colors to it without knowing beforehand exactly what they are. That being said, I think dark brown furniture would go nicely with this rug, as well as cool creams and cement. Anything blue, green or gold would be too chancy to match. I wish we could post pictures as part of the review....

I am very happy with this rug. I put it in my living room and it really makes the room seem larger and gives it some depth. I agree with the other reviewers that the blue background is not really a true blue, but instead more of a grey/lavender color. I like it though because it is muted and coordinates well with many other colors. The rug has a nice thick border that is well balanced in proportion to the rest of the design and is very soft underfoot. I would definitely recommend this rug....it's a great price!

I ordered this rug for my yellow living room with hardwood floors, thinking that it was wedgwood blue and was disappointed at first by the lavendar gray color, but after placing the rug in my room, I realized that the rug has beautiful taupe, orange, deep red and olive green accents, which are easy to complement. I placed a thick felt rug pad underneath and the rug is super soft. I paired it with the Henley rug, also from Overstock, which has an olive green background. I really love the cozy feel that these 2 rugs provide.

the rug is a little bluer than expected - but it is a great rug with lots of colors. I bought it has my dining room rug, so it will hide any food droppings! It is nice, thick and soft. Great find at a great price.

This rug is beautiful, good quality and excellent for the price. However....the actual color is much different. It is a much "cooler" color pallet than what appears in the photo. It has a grey-lavender background with burgundy and ivory and sage green patterns. I was expecting a warm yellow gold with blue, so it just didn't go at all. ..ended up selling it to my Mom. Looks fab in her place. I may be hesitant to buy another color-senstive (heavy) item online because of the cost to ship a return. Except for the shipping costs, returns have been easy with Overstock. It shipped fast and in great shape.

This is a nice rug for the price. The "blue" is a greyish color with a purple tinge - very pretty but not the baby or sea blue we were expecting. The other colors are a dark sage and some yellow, burgandy. Definitely a good deal for the price. The rug is shedding a lot - we have hardwood floors and are constantly sweeping up the little rug hairs that drift off. We're hoping it is temporary. We will definitely keep it - it completes the room and can go with a lot of different colors and themes.
