Beautiful rug! Looks just like the picture also, so no guess work on the color. It doesn't shed like other wool rugs either. Aside from clipping some long threads with manicure scissors...it was perfect. This rug will probably go with just about any decor. I always put a pad underneath my rugs to lengthen their life, but this is nice and thick and if not in a high traffic area, could stand on its' own, although a pad makes it ever more luxurious to walk on. Great value and I would recommend this rug to anyone. Beautiful!!!

The rug would not stop shedding even after an entire month of vacuuming everyday. The shedding was not light. It would fill the entire tank of my vacuum. I called Overstock and they said that it would stop within a month. After the month passed it was to late to return, and I just rolled it up and stored it in the garage. Maybe we got a lemon, but it was a very expensive lesson.

The rug is more muted than I expected. For only that reason, I would have ranked this rug 4 stars. Unfortunately we've only had the rug a few weeks and there is already a noticeable imperfection. My coffee table must have been moved while on the rug, resulting in one of the legs tearing the carpet fibers off of the carpet. The damage is a bare patch approximately 1 inch by 1 inch. I checked underneath the coffee tabel's leg, the bottom of the leg is smooth.

The rug is beautiful. The different colors are indicative of a high-quality wool rug. It's thick, neutral, and a great centerpiece to our room.

This is a thick, lovely rug. It is elegant but understated and looks lovely in the dining room. The pattern is a little shiny but not distracting. It just looks nice and feels great.

This is a beatiful rug -- very thick and soft. It adds a real touch of class to our dining area. The green is very muted -- but just picks up a touch of color.

Very simple design that will go with almost any decor. If you notice in the picture that there are darker and lighter areas varied throughout. These differences appear depending on which way the wool is going. If you go "against the grain" it's darker, if you go the other way it's lighter. This to me makes it feel like the rug is dirty, as the majority of the time the rug is "with the grain" and is lighter, while there are spots that are darker as you move and live on the rug. The rug works and is very soft. Generally, I think the rug is a little lighter then what is pictured. I am keeping the rug, but my OCD kicks in when there are "dark spots" on it, as it feels dirty to me.

Actually, I didn't get to unroll the entire rug and check it yet, but from what I can see, it is excellent quality, beautiful and thick. As far as the color is concerned, I can't say it was exactly the same as my monitor showed, like the previous review, but it's so neutral, I do believe it will go with my color scheme. I am moving and not using it for a few months, so I can't say much more. It looks like the color would appear different in different lights. The background is a true beige, the color gold - green.
