Colors are great as is the cut and pile of the rug...looks similar to the picture but in real llife, the colors are not as rich and there are some "white" areas on the rug threads where the dye didn't take. Not too noticeable once you get the rug down especially if it is under a table as is mine. But for this reason I would not recommend it and actually was going to return it but didn't want to go through the hassle. Stilll an all right rug for the price.

It is very textured--you can feel the brocaded roses on the rug. I like it a lot and it goes very well with my decor.
