I just rec'v today, the colors are so lovely. Pale gray/blue, light tan, vivrant deep burgundy accents, pale gold, light sage... really, really lovely and nuetral. Goes great with our beige walls and tan curtains in our dining room. I thought for the price this rug might be kinda cheap feeling and thin -- not at all. It is really plush even without the pad. It came folder but is already laying flat after just a few hours and a few passes with the vacum. No shedding issues thus far. I couldn't be more pleased with this rug and no one will believe the price. It is just a steal!!

I love this rug! The colors are soft and blended rather than faded. The red is rather like cranberry. The colors compliment rather than compete with other things in the room. I set this up in my dining room and it is perfect...Service was wonderful. The rug arrived in 4 days. Only slight shedding, normal for wool rugs. I am thinking about getting another one for my living room. I rated the workmanship a 4 instead of a 5 only because I have not owned it long enough to see how well it will wear. But I think this rug is well worth the price and deffinatly a good bargin!

I was very concerned about purchasing a rug on Overstock. However, after spending much time clicking through the options and reading MANY reviews on others purchases, I took the "leap of faith". This decison turned out to be a good one. I am very pleased with the ease of the transaction, speed of delivery and quality of the final product. As many before me noted, the colors are more muted then the image on the computer screen shows. That said, it is beautiful and I'm thrilled. If you are on the edge...... go for it!

As many have noted, the colors appear different in real life. It is the picture and not your monitor as I?ve calibrated my monitor for the extensive photo editing I do. The colors are darker in reality. The main background of the rug is a medium to dark grayish-taupe. The thick border around this is a grayish green that isn?t really sage as there is too much gray in it. The red accents are a flecking of cranberry and burgundy and truly make the rug. The thinner borders are a taupe color with tan/gold accents. The overall color scheme has a 1930s or 1940s feel to it with the greens and grays. The rug goes great with my light taupe walls, but I don?t think would work with tan walls. The rug is thick and came folded. It took about at week for the folds to disappear. The shedding seems typical and will probably be done after a month. I can tell where my dog likes to lay as there are pieces of yarn that have popped up and need trimming. I don?t know how this will bode after years of use, but right now I love the rug.

Great looking colors in rug. Taupe/ivory/greens and bordeaux red subtly complements and softens any room. Very pleased with quality. Received in 2 days. Well packaged. Highly recommended to many of my interior design classmates.

This rug exceeded my expectations. It's a gorgeous neutral tone rug with predominantly beige colors with shots of red as seen in the photo. It goes very well in my living room with heavy dark wook furniture, light sofas & neutral curtains. It lightens the heaviness of my wood furntiure. It's got a lot of heft.I came quickly & wrapped really well in a plastic bag, wrapped with paper, wrapped in an outer plastic bag. It had to sit in my garage for about 3 months before we opened it up & it was in perfect condition. As far as shedding goes, I went over it with the vacuum about 10-12 times before setting it up. So far so good.

I had a hard time finding a rug this size for a reasonable price. This one got a lot of great reviews so I decided to try it. As another reviewer pointed out it comes folded and it took a couple of days for it to fully flatten out. The colors are not exactly as pictured, the middle is well-depicted but the outside frame is much lighter, a blue gray. Overall the rug is beige, light yellow, blue gray and some darker gold with red accents. My husband thinks that the red accents make the rug. It goes well in my neutral living room. I thought it smelled a little for a couple of days, but then went away. We have vacuumed it a number of times for shedding, as to be expected with any wool rug. The worst seems to be over. I like the rug and it looks nice for a reasonable price, couldn't find a better deal anywhere for the style that I wanted.

I was so excited when I found this on overstock. I love the subtle, beige colors with a splash of burgundy red as accents. As seen on online, the colors on the screen match the carpet to a "t"! It's thick and plush and lays well even without padding. The only downside, which is becoming a major problem and overrrides all the positives is that IT SHEDS so much!! We have a dyson and have gone over the rug as least twenty times and each time it fills up like beige cotton candy. Also, we are seeing some individual yarns raised leading me to believe it has some craftmanship issues as well. We are so disappointed as our children suffer from asthma and it's one more thing in the air. The rugs gets all over the hard wood floors creating tons of dust bunnies, it gets on our clothes, and all over our furniture. I feel it will shed until it down to the raw canvas backing. It's the biggest size that I purchased and shipping it back will probably cost so much money. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

WHEN I FIRST VIEWED THIS RUG I REALLY LIKED IT, BUT AS SO MANY HAVE STATED BEFORE ME I WAS FEARFUL OF PURCHASING A PIECE THIS LARGE SIGHT UNSEEN. BUT THANKS TO THE MANY REVIEWS I TOOK THE PLUNGE AND ORDERED. THE RUG CAME WITHIN TWO DAYS PACKAGED WONDERFULLY I UNROLLED IT JUST TWO DAYS AGO AND FELL IN LOVE WITH IT WHAT A QUALITY RUG, COLORS ARE MUTED, AND ARE A LIGHT SAGE,TAN, GOLDEN BEIGE AND HINTS OF DARKER GREEN IN FLOWERS with pops of a beautiful shade of red not rust, which i think adds class to the rug, I have no shedding issues,odor issues and the rug is laying beautiful on my hardwood floor.I do have one real big regret though i ordered the 9x12 I really, really wish I got the larger one it would fit better in the living room I purchased it for and make the room absolutely gorgeous. BUT REVIEWERS HAVE SAID IT WOULD COST 100 DOLLARS OR MORE TO RETURN IT. I COULD LIVE WITH THE EXTRA MONEY FOR THE LARGER ONE BUT THE RETURN FEES ARE OUT OF MY BUDGET. So if you are on the fence about this rug I promise you will not be disappointed in this soft elegant rug, and remember bigger is better when something is beautiful and you have the room.

we received it in a few days and it is beautiful but why was it marketed as a n ivory tan rug..it is really more grey green with a touch of ivory and tan. It is nevertheless beautiful and is a neutral color overall.

I waited for 6 months to buy this rug because i wanted to wait for a sale. I finally gave in an it was worth every penny. I love it and it looks better at home than on the website.

The rug arrived safely. I was surprised it was folded but once it was flattened out there were no folds or bumps. The colors are great - very muted. I was concerned about the 'green' but it matched my green leather couch and would blend in with just about anything. I especially liked the burgundy which is not the dominant color but is just enough to give the rug a little zip. I purchased a pad so the rug is very nice to walk on.

Ordered this rug hoping to make a difficult match with gold/tan paisley patterned upholstery. It is not a perfect match; however, since the colours in the rug are quite a bit more subdued than I expected, it mostly works. Spending $ to return the rug in hopes of finding a better match did not appeal to me. Another reviewer had the brilliant idea of buying a smaller, doormat size rug to check for a good match - a lot more inexpensive to return if the pattern or colours are not to your liking. In the lighting in my home, the pattern is less strident, the colours are more muted than in posted photos - what I see are paler tans, sage, some gold - with the cranberry red accents being most noticeable. The rug is quite well made; thick, dense woollen pile with a nice woven backing. I have not had problems with excessive shedding, it seems to be standing up to kids, dog and kittens romping all over it. I feel that this purchase was good value for the price.

I love this rug. It looks great in our family room. The colors are very neutral. And I found the same rug at a local department store for almost 4 times the cost. What a steal on overstock! It shed only for a few days.

Rug is really pretty in muted colors. It does shed as the other reviews stated...but that seems to be coming to an end after about a week or so......tends to clog your vacuum so just be aware......but really nice colors...my mom liked it so much..she is getting one!

I have been shopping in furniture stores, discount home stores and everywhere in between for two years for rugs for my hardwood floors. I needed to find affordable, but also rich-looking pieces that would add to the room decor. This is it!

This is a quality, plush and beautiful rug for the price. As others have mentioned in their reviews, it does pill for several weeks. The primary colors to me are gold, beige, green and a splash of burgundy and looks great in our Victorian-style living room.

I have had my eye on this rug for months and finally ordered it. It arrived in about 5 days in great condition. You cannot beat the price for the size and quality of this rug. The only thing I will say is it is definately LIGHTER than it looks online. I still love it, just know that it is not as dark as it appears online. I have not had any problems with the "shedding" some people have said they've had. I would definately order from Overstock again based on my experience with this purchase (my first with Overstock.)

I was VERY pleased w my purchase. This rug has exceptional density (minimal shedding) and richness in color; it feels like a very expensive piece. ONE very small detail, however. The rug is described as "tan-ivory". In my particular rug, it is far more of a washed out, antique green or celadon color base. Mind you quite beautiful and expensive looking- only the description leans toward tan, beige, ivory, etc. Fortunately, I love faded greens, etc. I was pleasantly surprised. Other than this minor detail, this is a beautiful piece for the money! You will not be disappointed. FIVE STARS!

I ordered this rug as all rugs in my home are wool. I have never had a wool rug off gas like this one. I was sick the entire 4 days this rug was in my home. I could not spend more than one hour in the room without a terrible headache. the smell was overwhelming even when I left all the windows open. Also, the rug left lint everywhere. the shipping back cost me almost $100.00 and I had to pay this out of pocket.
