This piece arrived badly chipped but Overstock immediately sent a replacement. The relacement had very minor chipping but nothing I cared enough about to return. The piece is beautiful and the perfect size for a bedside chest (larger than a bedside table, but smaller than a dresser.) Be careful with the finish- it shows wear and tear easily. The painted design is very faint, which is what I wanted. I'm very, very happy with this piece of furniture, and Overstock's customer service just made me me a customer for life. I would rate it 5 stars if it was packaged better and shipped better.

i was very impressed with the quality of this "little" accent chest - it far surpassed what i expected to get for the price i paid! the finish was perfect, not too shiney - but not dull either. MY MISTAKE...i was going to use this as a night stand but it was way too small, so i used it in my foyer instead. the picture of the chest makes it appear larger - so just be sure to check the actual dimentions.

The bombay chest came with unfortunately a chunk missing toward the bottom - but is unnoticable unless sitting on the floor in front of the chest. Debated on sending back but instead just touched up with a black marker to blend in. I was dissapointed in that a review on the product someone had stated that DVD's fit perfectly in the unit - not really. I was hoping to have them standing up with the titles facing up but the drawer is just inches shy of that to happen. The piece looks spectacular in our room. There are definitely some imperfections on the top - but we have 3 small kids & this is in a family room. The drawers are very handy - not huge but are smooth to operate. We have gotten tons of compliments on the piece. I've always wanted a bombay chest but never wanted to spend the money to get a "real" one. This is definitely a great runner up! The price was right & it really is sharp looking in person.

Was looking for a nightstand to go with a recently purchased canopy bed. I ordered the chest on a Monday, it was at my house on Thursday. Only had to put on the feet -- 3 went on very easily, the fourth took a little bit of work, but not too difficult. The chest is perfect -- looks beautiful, excellent quality, perfect size next to my bed, and has 3 large drawers so provides a bit of extra storage in my small apartment. I'm thrilled with it!

I love this little chest, it fits perfectly on my landing under a window. It arrived quickly. I ordered on Sunday got it on Tuesday. My daughter and I assembled it and had it in place in a few minutes. every one that has seen it loves it also.

I have but one regret that is that one of the corners a back one was smushed in. Not awful and fortunately it was at the bottom right corner. I spray painted it and moved on. The legs were easy to get on. Lovely piece thoough and perfect instead of a regular nightstand.

This chest is adorable! I am using it as a nightstand. I have had the paint chip off of the drawers in a few areas. But an easy fix with a black marker. The drawers are on gliders but do not always work well. I found the charm of the piece overwhelms the occasional little hang-ups. So overall I am very pleased with this purchase. I am considering ordering another for the opposite side of the bed.

Love this chest, I use it as a tv stand and it works perfectly. The curves are so feminine and the three drawers are perfect for cd's, dvd's, coasters, linen napkins, candles etc. I wouldn't put anything heavy in the drawers, they are sturdy just more on the thin side. The top, body and legs are all solid wood.

I was worried about these after reading some of the reviews thinking that might be small and they would arrive chipped, but they were packaged very well and all I had to assemble were the legs. They are a solid construction and the drawers open and close easily. I ordered two to use as nightstands and the measurements provided were exactly what they were because I did not have an inch to spare. They are wonderful nightstands and hold a lot of items. I just love them!

These filled the bill. Wanted night stands with reasonable amount of storage for a platform bed. Also did not want a traditional piece or something ultra modern. These were a great compromise. Finish is nice and the hand painted accents are subtle and nice. Very pleased with the black flat finish. Adding the feet was easy as well as the knobs. Height is perfect for a platform bed as well. Width is just a bit wider than most nightstand, but suited my space. Some minor scratches, which I will fill in as it is not worth returning and replacing. Enjoy!

I loved this piece as soon as I saw it but was worried about the actual size and the quality. I couldn't be more happy with it. I have recommended it to so many people already. We needed it for under out flatscreen tv we hung. It is perfect. Make sure that you look at the dimensions because you would def. think it was bigger than it is. It is a perfect accent piece for any room!

This chest is just perfect for my little den area, I am changing style and colors and this chest is perfect. The size, workmanship, and easy to put the legs on. The drawers glide smoothly, and the paint and decorative design is just perfect. I would recommend this piece to fill in a small space with beauty.

I bought two of these and they are very nice I was a little dissappointed that they are so small. I was going to use them as nightstands anyway but thought they would be the size of a bombay chest. They look like bombay chest's but are much smaller the size of normal nightstands. Very nice workmanship and quality great delivery time just 3 days and no scratches or problems. We purchased this piece to put on a wall in our family room. It really is quite cute and fits well with our decor. It comes from a company that I have heard of before. The workmanship is a little cheap and it is not the best but it does work great for us and we have gotten a lot of compliments on it. My husband says that because it is not perfect it adds to the charm and makes it look like an antique. The draws come in handy. The paintings on the front are so cute and I really do love this piece even though it is not perfect and expensive.

This is beautifully crafted and well-made and is an extremely rich looking piece...This is a solid piece of furniture which is well-represented in its photo. It has a very muted hand painting in front which is understated and sophisticated. Once again, I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship of this selection from Overstock.com, and you will be too!

i love the chest. it is perfect for the application i wanted it for; a vanity with vessel sink. the drawers and all construction is of sturdy and attractive construction. i do notice a light scratching already, so we are applying a satin finish.

After checking many online sites, Overstock had the best price. The chest arrived within a week in perfect condition and just required screwing on the legs. Looks great and is a fabulous accent piece. Very pleased.

This is the perfect chest to hold sheets and towels in my extra bedroom. Nice size and design. Nice quality. I have owned it 3 months and would buy it again.

This chest is beautiful! Has an odor, and came scratched on the bottom leg. I purchased a polish marker and covered it. Sending it back would have been a pain, and who knows if the replacement piece would have the same issues. I called overstock about the issue and they gave me a $$$ credit.
