I ordered two chests. I was aware the accent painting was faint in color. There was a problem with the piece of wood between several drawers, which had cracks at the side panels. I had to putty and paint them to fill in. Some of the drawers on one chest are hard to pull. I will try to clean the roller tracks to see if it helps. I would send them back, but I do like the style and finish otherwise. I don't want the hassle of repacking. Otherwise the rest of the quality is nice the finish is nice too.
I just received this chest, it arrived fast (in 3 days). It is really sturdy and heavy. The hand painting is exquisite and gives it a classy look. I like that it came fully assembled. If you are on thinking about buying this then go for it! The price is very low for an item if such great quality. Thx Overstocks
The chest is pretty enough, although the quality of the workmanship is nothing to write home about. If I had been able to see and touch the piece in a store, I would have thought twice before buying it. We actually received two chests. The first one arrived so badly damaged in shipping that it was unacceptable. Overstock was terrific about the problem, offering to immediately send a replacement (which arrived within one week) and giving us the option to keep or return the damaged piece without additional cost. Overstock didn't require verification of the damage and were very, very cooperative and willing to make us satisfied. I would order again from Overstock because of the way they responded to the problem.

This chest was made by Pulaski and required no assembly. It arrived in perfect shape. All we needed to do was unbox it and put in our foyer. I am so glad I made this purchase.

Love this chest. I have it as a nightstand in a guest bedroom with no large dresser. It is larger than a regular nightstand but works well. The design on the front is lighter than it appears in the picture but looks great , just more subtle.
