much nicer than expected, but very heavy. You will need 2 people to get this out of the box, and attach the legs. I love the look of this peice, and it is very well made

I've shopped numerous times with Overstock.com and this is the first time I've been disappointed. The chest is not as pictured. The hand-painting was poorly done and not with as much color as shown. It was also not packaged well for shipping and arrived in several broken pieces. Fortunately, we were able to repair it, though one of the drawers will be unusable. Much too much trouble to return, so I will keep it , but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I am very happy with this chest. It was packed very carefully and the finish is very pretty. It is quite compact and sturdy. I have a small second bedroom and this lends a unique touch to the room. The chest has pretty lines and is most attractive and cheerful in appearance. It is sturdy enough for a nice lamp, or even a TV. The 3 drawers can be used for storing extra linens or for guest use. I think it is a good buy.

The chest is very solid and easy to assemble. It does not have the colors that it shows on line-they are very muted. Mine had some peeling paint on the lower left side and a nick on the second drawer. The top drawer was very hard to open, after some jiggling back and forth I finally got it on the right track. Overall I am happy with the chest, decided to get another one because it looks good next to our bed. Hopefully it will not have the same problems!!!

We purchased this piece for our entryway. In the photo it seems like just the right size, however, it's more like a night table or end table size. It would be nice in a living room or bedroom but not an entryway. Check the measurements before purchasing it. We ended up returning it because it was too small.

It was a little shorter than I thought but was a very heavy, sturdy piece of furniture.

Would NOT buy this again...the finish chips VERY easily and the drawers are not very deep and don't hold much...generally disappointed.

This chest is just what I wanted to finish off my kitchen remodel. I use it to hold my phone books, scrap paper, pencils and other desk items. It is stylish. Make sure you notice how tall it is. It cannot hold a lot but it is perfect for what I wanted. All four sides are decorated if you wanted to use it to separate a space or to see all of the sides. It is a great piece for storage. It shipped well and came with easy to follow directions for attaching the 4 feet.

I love my new piece of furniture. The colors and workmanship are very pleasing to the eye. The size is perfect for entry way at my cottage. The chest compliments the new wood floor perfectly. It was shipped promptly as promised and packed very nicely.

I really like this Bombay chest. It does not have the colors shown in the picture, the colors are very muted. It isn't as large as the picture shows either. But I still like it.

This was my first purchase from overstock.com I am really disappointed in this purchase for two reasons. First, the quality of the product is poor. It arrived with damage to the base of cabinet that was clearly not from shipping. Staples holding the piece together are very visible. Second, the decorative painting is so muted that it is almost ugly. I would not recommend this product at all.

Chest is smaller than on the picture. . Drawers are very small. Paint didn't look like on the picture. It was very faint. It is a nice piece only for a decoration . It's not worth the money !!!

I just love my new Bombay Chest ? the colors are beautiful and unlike some of the other customer reviews, saying that their delivery came through with nicks and scratches my chest is perfect. It was easy to assemble and is very well made. It isn't a large piece, which is perfect for my small NYC apartment. I love it!

Very cheap construction. The colors do not look at all like the picture. It looks like a child painted it. Some of the reds are blotted on and then the greens are very faint. It is not worth the money. We looked all over and the cheaper price led us to pick this. Save your money and buy a nicer one.

Amazingly easy transaction. Shipping was quick and item packed well for protection of furniture.The piece was a very nice quality. I am very happy with my purchase and will purchase items again on Overstock.

I ordered this Bombay chest to use as a night stand in my daughters room. When I recieved it the bottom drawer was not functional. The roller on the drawer along with the guides had been bent and broken. I do not have a clue as to how this could have happened. The hardware to the chest was in a box in the bottom drawer and the drawer was jammed so maybe when they put the hardware in that drawer they forced it shut when infact the box with the hardware in it was too big for that drawer. I emailed Overstock about the situation and they immediately emailed me back and began a search from the warehouse for a replacement drawer. No replacement was found so I was offered to return the chest or to get a partial refund for the damage. I chose to get the partial refund due to the fact that I fixed the drawer to where it functioned properly and I had ordered a glass top for it. This chest is beatiful and I really wanted to keep it. Overstock gave me a more than fair partial refund immediately and a satisfied customer I am. I order periodically from Overstock and have always been satisfied.

This is a very nice piece, albeit a bit smaller than I wanted. I purchased it anyway and found its use for other things makes it a very wise purchase. Can go just about anywhere, and used for a nightstand, end table, end of the bed, etc; in pairs would be good, as well. I like that the allen wrench is included and anyone can assemble. The yellow seems more feminine to me than the other colors. Colors are muted. The paint finish seems ok. It did come packed very well and I did not notice damage. I feel this is a good price for a great item!

I bought the chest as an alternative to masculine TV consoles. It works beautifully. I put my cable, Internet, and wireless boxes on the chest, and it softens the harsh look of these items. I love the construction of the chest, and its soft coloring complements any decor.

This piece looked beautiful when I took it out of the package, but began to chip shortly after. There are many chips of paint that have come off from simple use. Dissappointing since it is a heavy, well built piece. I would not recommend this purchase for anyone with small children that will bump into it daily.
