I just opened this and I said "Wow" - this is so much more than I expected (and I do not say that often). If you are a romantic like I am this is perfect for storing your DVDs and/or CDs. It is tall and stately (taller and more imposing in its presence than I had anticipated). The artwork is soft, subtle and sublime. The gilding is lovely. If you need DVD storage (and who doesn't?) and enjoy a romantic,Victorian style (my 13-yr.-old son says it is Renaissance-Northern Italy style!)- get it!! And of course it was packaged perfectly and delivered quickly.

I ordered this based on customer reviews. The quality is very nice but for lack of a better word, they are quite loud! A little over the top for me. I hate to be impolite but the word gaudy comes to mind. I kept them (only due to lazyness in sending them back) and stuck them in a bland corner of my basement for now, I may doctor them up in the future, (tone down the gold a bit) overall color is antique Ivory clackle, with bold flowers.

This is a beautiful piece. Antique-looking and very pretty. It came fully assembled so that was a huge bonus. I am using it in my master bath as a storage piece for my lotions and potions. Lots of extra room. Very nice. Am pleased.

Was very please the it was such a close match to a piece (armoire) that I have had for a few years. Looks as if they came as a set.

The colors are very soft and warm. It was the perfect accent for my room.

The pedestal is lovely. It is well-constructed and useful for storing home items. I have my pedestal in my bathroom, and store hand and wash towels in it. It is a little too ornate, though, for my bathroom. I am trying to find a better place for it.

I have been looking for a discreet way in which to store my dvd's and cd's. I found it in this unique storage pedestal. Plenty of space inside and it looks great with my decor. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This a very nice pedestal. It is a very large piece with alot of room inside with shelves. I had already purchased one like this one from a TV shopping channel. It was smaller and came with a broken door hinge. This one from O was packaged very well and was perfect . I recommend this HIGHLY.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the pedestal shipping box and took out the pedestal in one piece, no assembly required. The colors are lovely and the finish was exactly what I was hoping for. A great value for the price in my opinion

This beautiful pedestal more than met my expectations. Its exquisite workmanship lends a touch of elegance to the corner of my dining area and makes a wonderful display for a large plant.

This looks nice in my daughter's room that has French Provencial furniture. It would also go with Italian decor, or country french, or shabby chic. The shelves are nice for stashing items, and the top is a great base for a plant or other special display item. It is very stable, not top heavy at all, even on carpet and around toddlers. You could use this in a guest room, bathroom, kitchen, living area, or anywhere...very versatile and pretty.

I am very pleased with this pedestal. The subtle design is exactly as pictured. It is the perfect height for displaying a fountain or a vase. And I didn't have to put it together.

This cabinet is absolutely beautiful. I was worried because it possibly had required assembling. No. It was received in perfect condition, in one piece, so very nicely packaged, with pieces of wood to make the shipping box even more sturdy to protect from damage in shipping. The colors are so vivid, the painting is exquisite, like a Painter of Renaissance Era did the artistry. The shipping was very quick. High praise and high recommendation to anyone who loves perfection and beauty to enhance their house! I am very appreciative of this humble offer.

I GOT THIS A FEW DAYS AGO. AND WOW... IT IS MAD EFOR A LADY IN MIND. IT IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE. BUT IF YOU BUY ONE YOU NEED T GET 2. I AM GOING TO GET ANOTHER ONE . IT IS ALITTE TOP HEAVY. IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE SOMETING YOU WOULD GET AT A BIG BOX STORE.
