This is a wonderful table in it's design and function. It is not large, which is perfect for my purposes. The finish is very rich and the painting is subtle and attractive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a smallish table that easily accomodates a small light, coasters, etc.

This table is nice, but has some issues. I bought it thinking I could use it as a nightstand and put a glass top on it to protect the top. Turns out the top is NOT an actual circle--it's round but has scallops so it won't fit. Secondly, the shelf inside is not adjustable and sits on metal pegs. Unfortunately, the fit is bad and the shelf keeps falling off the pegs because it is smaller than it should be--so it is essentially worthless. Other comments would be: the flowers are much brighter than I anticipated from the photo, I thought they'd be more muted. The color of the wood is much darker also--like a dark brown walnut color. Overall, however, it's a nice decorative item with room for tall storage and very well made except don't plan on using the non-functional shelf unless hubby can nail in some brackets for it to sit on.

This table worked out perfectly as an end table in the livingroom. The hand painting on the sides was exquisite. The staining could have been a bit neater - especially in the corners of the wood. Overall, this is a beautiful piece of furniture and is a steal at the purchase price.

As others have said, this table looks better in person than in the picture. It is a great size for an end table and has a deceivingly large amount of storage space. The problem was not in attaching the legs, but in getting the box out of the cabinet. Luckily I had read other people's suggestions about cutting the box and taking out the legs. Couldn't the box be just a little smaller so that it would slide out? Then the table would be Perfect!

This is a gorgeous side table and looks much more expensive than the price I paid. It comes completely assembled except for the legs which go on very easily. It looks like a very high end piece of furniture. I am very happy with my purchase and know that anyone who purchases this table would feel the same. Thank you Overstock!!!!!!

This is wonderful looking piece of furniture. Well worth the price & only the feet need be attached. We received so many compliments the first week we had the piece, we then ordered a second table a week later. Both arrived in great condition & with in a week of ordering. Best delivery of any furniture distributor we have used so far. Certainly a bargain for the taking.

This is a great little table for the price. Shipping was fast and well packaged-lots of messy styrofoam though. The feet/legs were in a box inside the table which was almost impossible to get out, so that is the reason for the 3 star on the assembly. Definitely a unique table and for the price you can't go wrong. I am very glad I bought it.

My huband and I were very pleased when we unpacked this table. It is attractive and sturdy and looks perfect as a side table in our family room. I think it looks like an expensive piece, so it's a definite bargain for the cost. My husband - who prefers antiques - liked the look of it and the fact that it has real hardwood. The worst problem was getting the box containing the hardware out of the table - it was literally jammed in there! I finally decided to carefully cut open the box while it was still inside the table, take out the contents, then I was able to squish the box and get it out of there. Also, my husband had to drill the hole for the handle to make the screws fit properly. Other than that, assembly was easy. I like the design on the door of the table (and as someone else noted, the design is also on the other side, so it looks good from all angles) and I think it looks great for the price. Plus, it has a one-shelf storage behind the door - what a bonus, I mean who doesn't need extra storage in a family room to hide clutter!?! I purchased this based on others' reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Other than the two "problems" noted above, I think it's a great buy and would recommend it.

I agree with the enthusiastic reviews already posted. It is solid and serviceable. We use it to put mail out of sight until we have time to sort it. The hand painting seems sort of Victorian to me. I like to think Abraham Lincoln would have been glad to use it.

This arrived faster than the delivery confirmation had stated which was a nice surprise since I wanted it before the holiday. Only the feet needed to be screwed on - very easy! The piece is beautiful and I think the picture displays its character and color very well. There are three panels with the painted surface as shown in the picture. One panel is the door. There is one, non-adjustable shelf inside. I was hoping it would hide my laptop, but it isn't that deep. I just love it and may get a second for the other side of my fireplace since it works great as an end table.

My wife and I love the table. The craftsmanship is excellent and it looks beautiful. THis was the first time we ordered a piece of furniture off of the internet and will order many more items from you.
