The style of the table is very nice with the center drawer part extending forward to give it a more unique look. It is made well and sturdy. The two colors look nice together although what they describe as "black" is actually not black, but a dark chocolate brown. I like distressed furniture, but this particular piece is distressed differently than I have ever seen one. The paint on it, especially the top of it looks as if the paint was half dried and they tried to smear some more on and it it got thick in some areas. It has sort of a bubbled appearance in a couple areas on the top like when you use a paint remover on something. But I know this intentionally looks like this, but I didn't care for their particular style of "distressing" it may really appeal to some people though. Despite this, I am keeping the table. Maybe it will grow on me. It also was very easy to assemble, just screw the 4 legs onto it.
