It is difficult to describe my delight with this piece! My family owned a small furniture store years ago, so I believe I am qualified to highly recommend this chest . The finish was beautiful, and even the drawers had a "snag-free" finish on the inside. The manufacturer is a long-established firm based in Virginia. I am so grateful to Overstock for providing me the opportunity to purchase this item at almost half the retail price! Kudos to everyone!

A little smaller than it appears in the photo, but the dimensions are correct. Like some other reviews, it had some damage. One of the feet was pretty well scratched up, but touch-up wood paint covered it fairly well. The assembly was a snap - only the feet needed to be attached.

Chests were received very timely. Very minor scratches easily corrected. Using as bedside chests for guest bedroom. Great size. Beautiful detail. Color exactly as portrayed on line. Has look of expensive chests for much less cost. Very satisfied.

The chest arrived in 5 days . Nothing was broken or chipped. I put it into my second bedroom. It looks beautiful. A very different looking piece of furniture. Would highly recommend this piece of furniture for the price. Very, very happy with it.

This chest arrived quickly and was packed well in styrofoam. However the chest was damaged before it was package for shipment. two of the corners had large broken off pieces. The pieces were not in the package. With wood putty, paint and a couple hours I was able to fix it to my satisfaction. This would not have been possible if it wasn't an older looking piece to begin with. Other than arriving damaged the piece is as pictured and beautiful.

This dresser is beautiful!!!! It fits perfectly in my family room and I store all DVDs in it. I would have liked the draws to be a little deeper and it had a few minor nicks on the finish. Getting it out of the box without destroying the box was impossible (just in case you needed to return it) but I absolutely love this dresser and everyone complements it asking where I got it. It's gorgeous! I received it within 5-7 days. Great experience.

My biggest complaint about this product is that half the right side was COMPLETELY scratched and chipped in chunks. As a result, i was forced to find a corner in the room to place the product to hide this defected side. Although Overstock allows you to return your items, because the item is so big and heavy, found it easier to just put up with the half chipped/scratched chest. I purhcased the order aware that there may be some scratches and such but didnt expect it to be THIS bad. The chest is quite darker than it is in the picture and hence, the colors of the flower arent extremely visible or vibrant. However, I still consider this chest to be attractive and an unique accent to your room.

Great looking piece of furniture, very well made. Mine arrived with a scratch on the side which was easily covered with a black magic marker. Assembly was quick and simple and I have had many compliments on it.

I have this peice in my entry way---LOOKS REALLY NICE; PUT MY FAVORITE DOLL ON IT WITH A LAMP---I JUST LOVE IT--WOULD RECORMEND IT TO ANY ONE LOOKING FOR A PEICE THAT YOU COULD USE IN ANY ROOM---ONE PROBLEM IS THAT ON TH RIGHT HAND BACK SIDE BOTTUM WAS CRUSHED IN---NOT WORTH SENDDING BACK; YOU CAN NOT EVEN SEE IT---THE BEST JOANNE

Oh my gosh, i am just absolutely tickled over this little chest! for the price, i didn't have high expectations and was going to use it in the upstairs hall.i replaced a table in my morning room with it instead and it is simply beautiful!it looks like a high quality piece of furniture and i am so proud.

The bombay chest arrived with only 4 legs to screw in so assembly was easy. There were a couple of scratches on the bottom which were easily touched up but the only disappointing thing was that the table was so short. I thought I had measured based on measurements given but as an entry table, was really short. I put a tall mirror with it and it looks nice anyway.

I read the other reviews very carefully before ordering - it is true that this item is smaller than it appears in the picture. I measured the area of the room I was hoping to place it in, and made sure there was a fit, so I knew to expect this. Overall I'm pretty happy with it - it is extremely attractive and has a nice "old world" look to it, and the price was definitely right. My only complaint on the item was that there were a couple very small defects on it - two little chips and one area that has a small crack. They aren't big, however, I like the appearance of this item so much that I was a little disappointed to think that the craftmanship might be subpar. I selected that I wouldn't recommend this to a friend for that reason - however, if it is durable enough to withstand some wear over the next year, I would say I would recommend it.Also, Overstock customer service did assist me with my complaint regarding the defect.

Ordered for Mom's Day and delivery was quick. The packing of the item was meticulous. The only drawback on the experience was one runner in the top drawer had been very badly damaged. It was obvious it had happened before packing. Whoever was the last to work with this piece had to have forced the drawer into the opening because the runner was useless. Instead of repacking and sending the piece back across the country, we fixed the runner with pliers and a hammer. We also realigned the drawer wheel slightly. It works well enough for the minimal use the drawers will get. If this had been a piece expecting a lot of use, perhaps for a child's room, the item would have been returned.

Ordered two chests to be used as night stands. Both arrived within a week, expertly packed and easy to assemble (screw in legs). Nice finish and drawers work easily. Thanks again.

Sweet little chest, but it came much darker than pictured, I have a matching end table, and now they dont match, also flowers are much darker than pictured. Love the shape and shipped quickly..

I am in love with my new chest! I am an interior decorator, and I purchased this piece for my home. The hand painted flower design is very detailed, and the wood is solid and beautiful! I was looking around for a chest for a long time. I found chests at different locations from 1,000-600 dollars! I was shocked to find this price. I looked over the reviews and was very pleased. Do not hesitate to buy this! I hope this helps...

I bought this trunk to serve as a bedside table, and it works perfectly. There were no touch-ups needed on this piece, and it was an easy assemble - just screw on the legs. Easy-easy. There is a varnish smell to it that diminishes with time.It looked exactly like the photo. I was really pleased.

I ordered 2 of these as night stands for our bedroom. Delivery was very quick. The only assembly needed was to add the legs. The color is a little darker than the picture, but these have been a great addition to our bedroom. I wish there was a matching tall chest.
