This piece is cute. It came in with some damage on the corner from shipping but I fixed it enough to satisfy myself.. It's pretty, but falls short as a file cabinet. I was leary about having only one drawer and as it turns out, the one drawer files sideways, so I only got half a drawer for files. As an accent piece it is pretty and matches my decor, but as a file cabinet it leaves a lot to be desired. I put casters on it and I can pull it to me easily which made me a lot happier.

i love this piece for my home. no one knows it's got a file drawer and yet in my small condo, i get to use it as such. not an office piece - more a really interesting, hand painted, piece of furniture. bit pricey as anything is to me but love it.

I was hoping to put a lock on this and use it in my office as a file cabinet/end table, but the color will not work. I use it as a file/printer stand in the kitchen and it's pretty, but expensive for what it ended up being used for. I'm sure Overstock would have taken it back, no problem, but it's so pretty I did not want to send it back.

This hand-painted chest is a unique, charming piece of furniture which has added an attractive dimension to my den. At the same time. it adds an extra file cabinet, adding function to beauty. The colors are a muted olive green, more subtle than in the picture on my computer, with a soft mustard color on the drawers and sides. There are paintings of olive green ferns atop the mustard color, a lovely touch which is not well-reflected in the illustration. This piece is a gem!

This item is well built, and was packaged well for shipping. We bought it to put our printer on and store paper and such in... which it does! If you like the look, and the dimensions are right for you, then you should give it a try.

It was the first time I ordered from Overstock so I was kind of nervous about ordering a piece of furniture sight unseen.....but I was surprised ! The file cabinet was just what I was looking for to fit in our small spare room. The color was perfect & I love the hand painting on front and sides. It is a perfect size for an end table & holds a good amount of files . It is well made and was at my door within 48 hours of purchase and no assembly required, what could be better ? !!! An excellent product and excellent service from Overstock !

Chest with file drawer looks exactly as described. Files go in sideways which works for me. I would buy it again and it comes assembled.

Filing Cabinet is beautiful and can be used as a multi-functional piece. Makes a great end table. Is sturdy. No assembly needed. Painting is super. I will probably order another.

This chest is a beautiful addition and hides the fact that it is a file cabinet. Add to that that it came assembled and shipping was free... great buy at a great price.

This is a nice file and doesn't look like one. The color is as it looks online. Mine did have a small amount of damage to one corner, most likely happened during shipping. I was able to lightly sand and cover with paint. It is not very noticable now. I use this in my office/guest room. and looks great there.

Lovely piece, comes assembled. A beautiful "cover" to my files. Looks like an end table but is used for office file storage.

I can't say enough good things about my beautiful file cabinet that fits right in with my living room furniture. If I did not mention it was a file cabinet no one would know, it has excellent craftmanship and details. It was carefully packaged for shipment, it arrived without a mar or scratch and hardly any assembly was required. I recommand this buy to anyone that loves beautiful furniture and has need of a file cabinet or storage cabinet; it can work both ways.

This file cabinet is a good value. It is reasonably well made and required almost no assembly. It is as agreen as the photo, however, which wasn't exactly what I was looking for.
