This beautiful cabinet blows my mind! Everything about it is amazing. Firstly it arrived in perfect condition. The black leather (!) surface is richly lustrous, pristine and smooth, the subtle paintings on all sides except the back are gorgeous and intriguing. Even the back of this thing is nicely finished in black paint. The interior of the drawers and the cabinet are covered in fascinating Chinese "cartoons" on what appears to be ancient etiquette, beautiful and delightful surprise inside. The cabinet has 3 movable shelves and a lock device attached by a simple red thread. Hardware is lovely. Drawers slide in/out with ease, cabinet doors open wide and have a little magnet attached to ensure that they close when you want them to. This cabinet is LARGE (43"h x 33.5" w at its highest point) and heavy (over 100lbs). It arrived double boxed in huge boxes, well packed. It takes two people to unpack it, especially if you do not want to damage the packing boxes. It needs no assembly. This is my first Overstock purchase and I admit I was a little worried but now I am a convert! The price, the impressive quality, the careful packing and delivery, like I said it blows my mind. I can see this beautiful cabinet being a prized possession for years to come!
