I LOVE this rug! It is soft and such a beautiful color. My only complaint is that it is hard to vaccum since it has deep ridges (which could just be my vaccum). I highly reccomend this rug- I get lots of compliments.

This rug is absolutely beautiful. The color is a vibrant rich red. The pile of the rug is thick and luxurious. It feels and looks very high end.....vacuums with ease and laid perfectly flat right out the shipping package. Great rug for the money!

Two of these were purchased for my hallway. I was a little hesitant when I saw the review which mentioned the color was more of a tomato red., but when the runners arrived I could have been more pleased. I guess there are different shades of tomato red but this one would be described as deep, dark, lucious and beatuiful, red. The rug is a dense, 3/4 inch high high with a horizontal, delicate, closeweave, high/low rib to it. It is incredibly soft and plush to the bare foot. Since this purchase I have ordered five other Catalinas in various sizes including the 5 ft. x 7.9 and the 3 ft. 6 x 5 ft. 6. I absolutely LOVE these beautiful rugs. As others have mentioned they do shed some wool but this is to be expected with any good-quality wool rug for a few months. I specifically choose wool (the label also uses the word cashmere) because of it's special properties for warmth and air purifying properties. I am expecting my floors to be much warmer during this coming Inland Northwest winter.I highly recommend these rugs and am very thankful they did not sell out until I was able to order the number I needed.Thank you Overstock for helping me create a cozy, cottage home. I purchased this as a runner, it was even better then I thought it would be. Nice and plush on the feet and doesn't mat down easily. A very good purchace!

I just received this rug, and it is much more than I expected. The quality is great, very thick and plush. It's wool, so it will last a long time, the backing is a heavy cotton canvas, so no rubber wearing off, or crumbling due to age and cleaning. I have this on the carpet in my hallway, but using it on hardwood, you will want to get a rug backer, so it doesn't slide.It's easy to clean by vacuuming, and can be dry cleaned when necessary. The texture is great, it has little ribs across it. My cat immediately laid down on it, and rolled around. He loves it too. The color is very slightly lighter than the picture, but that was due to my computer monitor. The other computer, it looks as is.This is great quality for the price. It is less than the olefin rugs of the same size. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is a gorgeous rug! The quality of workmanship is better than that found on a rug for double or triple the price. It is so thick and durable. The rug has ribbing that gives it a nice textured look. It looks great on our ceramic tile floor. Recommend using a pad so it does not slip.

The Catalina runner that I purchased is excellent quality for the price. It works well for my entry way with the round rug that I purchased earlier from Overstock. The runner is very plush and has a high quality look. It does show the dog hair, but sweeping it is easy. I would recommend this rug.
