We have light birch floors and bought this rug for under the dining room table. It is gorgeous. Very plush, so we only used the thin non-skid liner underneath. Colors are rich, but word of warning; the red in the rug is a brick or rusty red. Since we weren¿t trying to match the red to anything this was no problem. In fact we prefer the brick red because it warms the room nicely. No odor and no problem with out of control fibers. The rug is perfect.

This rug is gorgeous! The colors were as represented. It looks rich and elegant on my hardwood floors. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. The prompt delivery and inexpensive shipping fee were icing on the cake!

I purchased this rug for my dining room so I was looking for a durable good looking rug that wouldn't quickly show crumbs or spots. This rug fits the bill and then some. Its rich colors and plush feel underfoot are similar to rugs that cost twice as much.In terms of the specific rug, know that the red is definitely a "brick" red -- very muted and is definitely not red or burgundy (there were varying opinions on the reviews and I know colors appear differently to different people but it is definitely NOT red b/c the oriental in my living room which does have a red background clashed so terribly with the brick red of this rug that I moved the red rug to another room).Also, the overall effect of the rug is more tan/brown than red or black. I have now purchased two rugs from Overstock.com and neither was well represented by the picture or the description; if you want a rug that matches specific colors, buying a rug this way may be risky.My only issue with the rug was that it came folded in a square rather than rolled so that it had creases, two of which took over a month to work their way out. Now, however, it looks fabulous and I've had many compliments on the warm atmosphere of the room. My success with this purchase inspired me to purchase another rug from Overstock.com to replace the red living room rug. That rug was also an excellent purchase!

This is a beautiful rug that looked as nice as it did in the picture. The colors are true and match the written description. The rug comes folded and it is taking a while to smooth out a couple of folds but they are smoothing out. I bought the matching size rug protector and it is larger than the actual rug and it was difficult to trim it down. There is very little shedding and no rug smell at all. I am very pleased with the quality and look of the rug and definitely feel this is a great rug for the price.

I bought this rug in a 9' x 12' size. We just remodeled and put a lot of money into our home so I needed an expensive looking rug without the expensive price tag. This rug did just the trick and pulled the room together perfectly! It is not only gorgeous but is well made and doesn't shed. I highly recommend it.
