I didn't know what "100% High Mountain Wool" is but now I know - it's scratchy and thin. I love the colors in this rug but I'm not sure what room it would be useful in since the material is so scratchy and uncomfortable to step on. I got it for a bedroom but am sending back since it's not what I hoped it would be. *Wish there would have been a description of the wool available.
