My architect saw the rug and raved about it. To quote, "If you told me you paid $4000 for this, I would have believed it. Beautiful!"Background color has a bit of mossy green to it. The detail has a lovely sheen, and changes from silvery to gold to almost red depending upon the angle and lighting.Highly recommended.

GORGEOUS rug! I absolutely love it. It appears to me it is of very high quality (kind you find in the persian rug stores) - the tag states that it is hand-knotted from India. Pile is medium - not too thick and not too thin. Color is fairly true as shown - very neutral and beautiful. Elegant yet modern. Highly recommend!
