Hand-hooked Vintage Poster Blue Wool Runner (2'6 x 6')

I purchased this runner for my kitchen and I am so pleased with this item. It arrived very fast, within a few days of the order. I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw the colors of this rug. It was a wonderful range of hues that completed the look I was trying to achieve in my new kitchen. The craftsmanship was also very impressive. I am so happy I bought this item- My friends and family members love this item- It's a great conversation piece-

This wool runner was an anniversary gift for friends in another state. They absolutely loved it and commented on its thickness, softness and colorfulness. They are researching aperitifs on the replica poster rug and have received inquiries from friends about where they got the rug. It has become quite the conversation piece much to everyone's delight.

Colors are just as I see them on my screen. Definitely oranges more than reds, bright medium blue, and the rooster is shades of purple as the previous reviewer said. Only problem I can anticipate is having to dry clean a kitchen rug. But the beauty of this rug makes it worth it. Note that this rug is double the O price on other sites.

I ordered an area rug and two runners with this same pattern. I like hand-hooked wool rugs and I think these are a great value. The workmanship is excellent, but the colors are markedly different than they appear on screen. I expected primary colors of navy, red, orange, yellow, and black and white. Instead, the rugs are bordered in a light grey, have a medium blue background in each rectangle, and contain orange, two shades of yellow, two or three shades of green, brown, and a small amount of white and black. The rooster is purple rather than black with a red comb. So, if you have a strict color scheme in mind, you may want to consider another rug. I am keeping my rugs despite my disappointment with the colors and will use them in a vacation home.
