I ordered this runner rug because it was the match to my 8 x 10 from the same collection. The ivory/white area of the smaller rugs is much darker than is in the larger rugs from the same collection. I would say the light area is more of a beige than white or ivory in the 8 x 10. If it was the same as is in the larger area rugs I would have been happier. Now we are going to keep the runner, but only because it somewhat matches the larger ones in the same rooms.
THIS RUG IS OKAY DEFINATLY A HAND HOOKED RUG. IT IS NOT VERY THICK OR SOFT AND THE EDGES HAVE GAPS AND ALL YOU SEE IS THE BACKING. I LIKE THE PATTERN BUT THE COLORS JUST DO NOT POP. BUT THE 2 RUGS I PURCHASED WILL WORK IN THE AREA I NEED THEM DURING A REMODEL.

Rug is much prettier in Overstock photo than in actuality. I had to air both rugs in the garage for almost two weeks because of a noxious odor. I should have returned the rugs, but I was desparate and could not find anything else to coordinate with what I already had. Besides, returning is a hassle.

This rug is perfect for my kitchen in every way. The look is beautiful, with fruits, vegetables and the colors are perfect for any kitchen. As well, the designs in this hand woven rug are magnificent. Also comes in many sizes. Just Great!
