Hand-hooked Diamond Black/ Ivory Wool Runner (2'6 x 8')

Love this rug!!! Needed a runner for a long stairway landing and is hard to find one a true 8 feet long. Width is great also, a little wider than most runners. Such a wonderful pop of contrast to a bland stairway. Really brightens up the walk upstairs! Black and beige harlequin design is well defined and hooked. Vacuums easily. Needs rug pad underneath to prevent slipping

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The beige is lighter but perfect for what I wanted.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Hand hooked is secured well and backing is sewn expertly in place.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Accurate

The rug is cushy underfoot. The patter is nice, however the rug sheds A LOT. Because of all the shedding, the white fibers get on the black parts and the black fibers on the white and the rug looks 'dirty' quickly. Adds a lot of interest to the hallway, however, so I would recommend it.

So far the runner is working fine. I was a little concerned about the white part, as I have it in front of my sink in the kitchen and was concerned about it getting soiled. So far, it is holding up pretty well. There have been a couple of spills on it, but was able to get it clean. It is a nice heavy rug.

This runner is wonderful but do not put it in a high traffic area because the white squares dull and show any kind of dirt quickly. Better to go in a bathroom where little dirt is or a hall way that is rarely used. I bought it for my kitchen BIG mistake and it does hold pet hair too.
