Just got the rug today, and we are pleased with it so far. We were replacing a Jute rug that was beautiful but got worn out by our dog and was rough on the feet. This rug is a neutral color, but it's one that I think will take on different looks in different light. Sometimes, it looks a little green almost. However, it's very neutral giving us a similar natural look as the Jute rug did. It works for us because we have a bold red sofa and some accents in the room that would compete with a colorful pattern in a rug. It is a soothing color. One thing to mention is that it does have loops. We have a dog and cat, and I always stayed away from looped carpet, but I couldn't tell from the picture for sure. It is alternating loop and cut pile. It was true to size and it shipped quickly, and like any wool rug, it's shedding like crazy. I filled up 2 canisters of my vacuum cleaner with carpet fuzz when we layed it down. A nice carpet pad under it makes it feel very nice. I believe it will hide dirt better than a cream rug for sure, and hopefully it'll stand up to my busy household. The advantage to this over the Jute is that we'll be able to shampoo it and clean any accidents much better because it is wool.
