I've ordered this table twice, and both times it arrived with extensive mold and mildew and an extremely musty smell. It's very cute, but I'm receiving a refund because I believe all of the inventory is tainted with this problem since I asked specifically that my item be checked for this problem before shipping. It appeared that it had been because the original tape was replaced with new packing tape, but it could have been a recycled return as well. If the item were opened, the problem would have been extremely obvious. The live chat center was helpful and took care of the return.

I just got the table - it took about 4-5 days for it to arrive. I like it - it is cute unique... . The only thing I did not like about it was the fact that the colors were not as bright as in the picture... . The table is of much darker colors and also very heavy... .

We wanted a smallish table...and since our main decor is tons of books which are often strewn about half finished this was perfect! It is a little shorter than we anticipated, but if we had read the dimensions more carefully we would have known that. We really love this piece.

I used to have a glass top end table and put my "book" end table instead - and i love it. the colors are very warm and, for the book lover that I am, it made my study even more personal. I have it next to a chaise and it is the perfect height for that. It is overall small, but perfect for my needs. It arrived quickly and in mint condition.

I bought this to sit beside our recliner in the living room. It came up to the halfway point just about on the recliner. Now it sits in my son's room:) Very cute, but pay close attention to the height.

I like it... I knew it could have some moldy stuff and it did, but comes right off. They could have cleaned off the wood chips BEFORE painting the pages. Over all It's just what I wanted and works great for me.. It is quit heavy but that works good for me... it's going into my Class "A" motorhome as a coffee/snack table in front of the couch.

I received this table in about 1 week after ordering but to my dismay, the table was inundated with mildew and mold. GROSS. I tried to clean it off with Clorox Clean-up but the mildew had penetrated the finish of the table and it was ruined due to the mildew. I am returing it and not requesting a replacement. I am afraid to try again because I don't want to have something that has mold on it in my house.

I was initially dismayed by the scuffed surface on what I thought was the top book but figured out soon that I had opened the package upside down. The table is indeed lower than I thought. However, it is VERY sturdy and the oak rectangle on the top book is a nice touch. This works perfectly in our library/music room.

Absolutely love this product! Goes great with any furniture style and no assembly is required! Unique and lots of personality too!

I eyed this table for a year before ordering as a gift for my English lit student son. The table is a hit; 2 and a glass top would make a spectacular coffee table! No mold on these old books as reviews of others have discussed. Unique piece, fun to have, thanks again Overstock!

This is a fun piece of furniture. It was shorter than I had pictured so I put two large real books underneath to get the height I wanted. The craftsmanship is not great but reasonable for the price.

This is a really cute, solid table - much more substantial than I expected. Yes, it arrived with the mold that others noted, but because others had mentioned it in their reviews I almost expected it. It cleaned up quickly and looks great. It's a little annoying to have to clean something that has just arrived, but honestly for the price of such a nice table, it was worth it. I'm very pleased!

What an adorable table! It arrived very quickly and is perfect for my home office seating area. Yes, there was some mold as another viewer mentioned, but a quick spray down with bleach water killed the spray, and it has not come back. Great buy!

This ia a good buy. From a distance, the table looks authentic; large, heavy books piled on top of each other. We are using it as a table for our DVD player. We placed it next to the TV and a wall bookcase. It looks perfect, given its location. No assembly is needed, making it an easy addition to any "casual" room decor.

This is the cutest little table. My only qualm is that there was a nick or two here and there, but nothing noticeable or disheartening. I needed something small for the corner by my bookcase, and is was perfect! Very unique piece.
