I received the table first and thought it was cute, but was a little disappointed. Then the bookshelf came in and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the basketballs and had no issues with symmetry or painting. It's a heavy piece (unlike the table) and its unique style really adds to my son's room.

The baseballs on the bookshelf were not completely painted and the color was distorted.

I bought this bookcase for my son's room and it is adorable! It is crafted from really good heavy wood and it looks like it would cost a lot more than it actually did. It is the perfect size and is just as it is described. Great buy and the wood grain and color is beautiful...honey oak colored with deep graining...definitely not the "cheapy" look you get with other fake woods. It's heavy, will stay put!

We also had a problem with first recieving the wrong item and it took almost two weeks to get the correct one. It was a very frustrating return process. We did finally recieve the right item. It is much smaller than it appears in the picture. Not really functional as a bookshelf but would work well as a nightstand. The tops of both baseballs are completely discolored. Overall though I think it adds a lot of character to the room.
