    An exotically handsome addition to any room, this Acacia wood Hand-carved Elephant Design Coffee Table Chest will become a treasured heirloom for generations.

    • Handcrafted from Acacia Wood in the village of Ban Tawai in the Golden Triangle region of northern Thailand
    • Elephant designs are carved on the top and sides.
    • Two brass hinges on the back enable easy opening and closing
    • Four sturdy wooden legs raise the chest slightly off the ground
    • Measures 24 inches wide x 16 inches high x 14 inches deep

    This unique masterpiece is handcrafted from solid wood in Thailand. Due to the tropical climate where the wood originates, slight cracks in the wood are normal and to be expected

    • Coffee Table Chest

      It's definitely more of a chest than coffee table. It's quite small. I was a bit surprised by how small the interior was. they tell you the size of it in the details of it, but it's still hard to imagine how much or little room you have once you open it up. It will serve the purpose for which I bought it fine, so just be aware that it really isn't a coffee table. It is well built, has great detail on it and is a definite conversation piece.

    • SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!

      I aree with everyone who has said that this chest is stunning. The detail is great! It is small for a coffee table. I have it in my Den as a center piece to the room. I plan to purchase some plexiglass to protect it. It is definitely an eye catcher and a conversation piece. If I had another place to put another one of these, I would purchase another. I definitely recommend this to purchase, but don't expect a huge coffee table.

    • Get out your tape measure!!!!

      This is a beautiful little piece, emphasis on the little. It's very well made, arrived with no damage, and looks just like the picture. BUT, this is NOT coffee table sized, and shouldn't be in the coffee table section. I must admit, it does measure close to the dimensions listed, and I should have looked more closely at the discription before purchasing. This is such a nice piece that I'll find another use for it and continue my coffee table search more carefully.
