It's definitely more of a chest than coffee table. It's quite small. I was a bit surprised by how small the interior was. they tell you the size of it in the details of it, but it's still hard to imagine how much or little room you have once you open it up. It will serve the purpose for which I bought it fine, so just be aware that it really isn't a coffee table. It is well built, has great detail on it and is a definite conversation piece.

I aree with everyone who has said that this chest is stunning. The detail is great! It is small for a coffee table. I have it in my Den as a center piece to the room. I plan to purchase some plexiglass to protect it. It is definitely an eye catcher and a conversation piece. If I had another place to put another one of these, I would purchase another. I definitely recommend this to purchase, but don't expect a huge coffee table.

Absolutely beautiful!!! What craftsmanship!!! This is even more beautiful than I thought it would be. Any elephant lover would like it.

This is a beautiful little piece, emphasis on the little. It's very well made, arrived with no damage, and looks just like the picture. BUT, this is NOT coffee table sized, and shouldn't be in the coffee table section. I must admit, it does measure close to the dimensions listed, and I should have looked more closely at the discription before purchasing. This is such a nice piece that I'll find another use for it and continue my coffee table search more carefully.

This is a beautiful hand made piece. I love it! It was just what I was looking for. It was packed well and shipped quickly. I wish they had bigger pieces.

This is the cutest little coffee table. I say coffee table very loosely because it is really tiny so I am going to be using it for a side table sort of thing. It is way worth the money!!
