one of the drawers was already broken upon arrival. Had to glue it back together. Has a very strong offensive chemical odor. flimsy wood.I am keeping it, only because it is too cumbersome to repack and return. I can use it, but am really dissatisfied with it's quality.Extremely difficult to get out of the box, had to have 2 others help me. Im not an invalid, but a regular type of 50 year old lady. would NOT recommend.
I was looking for the perfect piece of furniture to organize all the paperwork that always seemed to end up on and around the dinning room. And this was the answer. It holds everything and looks very nice also. The shipping was fast, the assembly was easy, the hardest part was getting it out of the box. It is darker than shown, but still looks great!
I just got my new desk and I'm very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the woodwork especially considering the amount of $ I paid. It is quite sturdy and will hold everything I need to pair down my home office.It is slightly darker in person that the picture, but another reveiwer noted that so I was expecting the color.My only "complaint" if you could call it that, is that the file shelving is not attached and sort of floats around in the inside of the desk.
We are very happy with our beautiful new desk. It arrived the day it was scheduled to arrive and couldn't have been packaged any more protectively. All we had to do was put the legs on! It fits perfectly in the spot we had chosen and is exactly what we were looking for.
